This once-in-a-lifetime experience is enriched with the most important historical and up-to-date information on Rome, with loads of enchanting anecdotes, introducing you to her hidden treasures, and entertaining you with her great legacy of legends and stories that seem to resonate throughout the city. Our tours are limited to 6 and a minimum of 2 clients so we guarantee an intimate and unique experience. We will provide you with a set of headphones so you can comfortably listen to your audio-guide OR personal guide. You will listen to Rome's history peppered with tales about he structure of Roman society, their beliefs, their social and political life. Discover how the Romans managed to create and control such a vast territory and how that empire declined. Tour Duration: 3 hours, including 30 minutes of orientation session Tour start at 10:00am/3:00pm/5:00pm, departs from Segway Office located in Via di Sant'Eufemia #15, Rome. It is very close to the Piazza Venezia. Schedule: - All year - Available only the morning tour at 10am (9:30am in 2012) - April, May, September and October - Available the morning and the afternoon tours at 3pm (2:30am in 2012) - June, July and August - Available the morning and the evening tours at 5pm (4:30am in 2012) - From 16th of December until 9th January, 2012 - Not Available ***Upgrade to Segway Tour with Personal Guide - 90 euros per person: The personal guide (or tourist guide) provides information and cultural and historical information about Rome. They have a recognized regional tourist guide qualification. |
Special Notes
- The Segway is appropriate for virtually anyone 12 and older. Riders must have the ability to make motions such as climbing and descending stairs without assistance. The Segway is not appropriate for those weighing under 100 pounds (45 kilos) or over 250 pounds (113 kilos).
- The regular tour is given always in English. On request (minimum 4pax) French, Italian and Spanish.
- The tour goes on rain or shine. No money refunds will be made for lost airplanes, busses, trains etc.
Reservation Process and E-Ticket
1.Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a Receipt of Reservation via email.
2. Within one to two business days of submitting your reservation you will receive a confirmation email from us. If you need to book an airline ticket, we recommend that you do so after you receive a confirmation of your tour reservation from us.
3. An E-Ticket will be sent to you via email as soon as details of your reservation is confirmed or your supporting information is received by us. We will provide you with all detailed information about your tour on the E-Ticket. Contact information for local tour provider will be included on E-Ticket for your convenience or re-confirmation purpose if re-confirmation is required.
4. Simply print your E-Ticket and present it with your valid photo ID on the day of your activity to your tour guide. Please remember E-Ticket is your proof of purchase.
