"My dad took a tour of the East Coast back in 2006 so he recommended that we take a West Coast tour in 2015. It was very easy to purchase online and when I couldn't find our pick up people when we landed at the airport, I had to call their ..customer service and it wasn't an issue. However, the employees of Tours4Fun in Los Angeles are Chinese and they don't understand our accents easily but they are nice and I don't blame them. On the other hand, I like the tour of San Francisco, San Diego and Las Vegas though they didn't cover Los Angeles as much as I thought they would so we rented a car and we went all over the place and that was not a problem. However, they would keep asking tips which I found weird and harsh. I know we have to tip everywhere but they come out and asks seven dollars per head. Other than that, I would recommend Tours4Fun to people and would definitely use them on another trip."Read full review
"Whatever questions I had, the Tours4Fun agent was able to answer, and whatever purchases I had to make was a pretty smooth affair. I was able to book the tickets and whatever I needed for the San Diego tour. The tour was nice and the whole.. experience was pleasurable. I hope they keep up the good work."Read full review
My wife and I travelled on this tour and were very satisfied. The hotels were good. The guides were attentive and patient especially Dale on the way to Vegas and Eric in LA. We saw everything we hoped to. This is the perfect way to see a lo..t on a budget. We did the East Coast tour last year and this tour was equally as good.Read full review
We a family of six took this tour from 2nd Oct, 11 and came back with a happy memory. The tour was excellent. Everything was meticulously planned and well taken care of. The tour guides were of Chinese origin but it didnt bother us at all s..ince they addressed in English as well. The choice of hotel selection was also good enough(Howard Johnson in LA, Stratosphere in Vegas and Sheraton in San Francisco). There was an overall ambiance and feel good factor amongst the co-travellers.
However, some minor cons should also be mentioned. They took us to Yosemite on the last day of the tour which took us 9 hours (up & down) plus couple of hours stay at the park. It could have been better if either Disneyworld or Universal were reserved for the last day. Secondly, in San Francisco there was an optional tour for in depth sight seeing of the city, which could have been included in the main tour itself without charging $25 each.
Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend this tour operator to my friends.

This was an interesting way to see California at a very fast pace.
If it was on the printed itinerary you saw it and was told about it, if it popped up along the way, no one knew what it was. EG, the Dam for the water supply to LA was not ..commented on until I asked about it. As was the area of the Bay of San Francisco where the land was divided into squares beside a very low roadway, on the way to Stamford University. No one knew why.
We had been warned about the dual language, english/chinese so this was not a drama, in fact was very interesting.
The guides, on the whole were good, with Michael, the guide we had to San Francisco, Yosemite and back to LA, exceptional.
The accommodation everywhere was comfortable.
The availability of food on the tour became repetetive with repeated visits to Chinese Buffets. I am sure even the Chinese people on the tour became frustrated with this.. After the 3rd one, we gave up and ate away from the tour for lunches etc.
The only complaint I would have with any of the Hotels we stayed at would be that the Howard Johson Hotel at Anaheim seemed very slapdash about making their dinner menu available and treated you with surprise that you would want to eat there. Often the food on the menu was not available after the orders were taken.
Those things aside, we enjoyed the tour very much and would use the company again.
Be aware that on top of the cost of the tour you will be required to pay a fee to the tour bus driver and tour guide every day. This is in small print on your itinerary and adds quite considerably to the costs you will incur. It would be better if these charges were included in the cost of the tour.Read full review
We bought the five day and that included SeaWorld freebie! We stayed in Escondido (time share) so we had to wait for the traffic to clear so we could get downtown. The only issue is we really only had from 10 until 5 to use the passes. If y..ou stayed downtown, you could really complete a lot of activities. As it was we saw (with one rainy am); Cabrillo National Park (son became a jr ranger), Rosecrans Cemetery (not a card day-all free); Mon: Balboa Park (Zoo, National Museum of History, Fleet Science); Tuesday: Midway museum, Harbor Tour-North shore, Scripps Aquarium, and LaJolla to watch seals and eat supper. Wednesday: SeaWorld and Animal Park Thursday: LegoLand (very crowded! but it was raining on Monday the only other day that it was open): Oceanside Pier; Friday Tried Legoland as pass was upgraded to free 2nd day:) but it was too crowded. Went to Oceanside and Museum of Making Music then to beach for rest of day. Tried to get to Boomers but card was good for San Diego location only. Great Value for the money! Get the 5 day!!Read full review
It's more and more difficult to find great hotel discounts to cities I want to visit. So I was very happy to book one of your Los Angeles tours that include hotel accommodations. I had a nice 10 days on the West Coast and the best part of i..t all! IT WAS A GREAT DEAL!Read full review
Traveling with three kids is never easy, but we did it and we had a great time! My husband and I decided it was time to take the kids on vacation for their winter break, so we booked this tour with the theme parks. There was the usual sight..seeing for the adults and fun for the kids. The kids did get fussy on the bus, so I recommend that parents bring snacks and entertainment for the kids on long trips like ours. My youngest enjoyed SeaWorld more than Disneyland, but I think that had something to do with her being afraid of the costumed characters. The drive from location to location sometimes felt long and boring, but it was the best vacation we've taken in years.Read full review
