In ten days we visited many places, yellowstone, grand canyon, LV, Lake Tahoe, antelope canyon, Disneyland and universal studios. It is a great trip if this is your first time to USA and only have ten days about. The tour guide was kind, ev..erything has been perfectly arranged, he knows what to do at all times, we worry nothing just need to pay and enjoy. Great tour.Read full review
100% 7 Day National Parks Private Tour with Rachel. Sensational Trip!!!
By: Anonymous | Mon Aug 20, 2018 at 12.00 AM
From the time we first contacted Rachel, right through to the very end of our
trip, we had such a personal, professional, friendly, informative and thoroughly enjoyable
experience. Rachel customised this tour based on what we wanted to see ..but made very
valuable suggestions re the split between camping and hotel options and the timing of the
activities and sights we saw on the trip. The end result was one of the most amazing touring
experiences our family (incl. kids aged 9 & 10) have ever had.
We enjoyed commentary of the areas we drove through, several stops off the beaten path that
we'd never have found or known about without Rachel's insight and even road games with the
kids as well as Smores by the campfire, which the kids loved.. Rachel's thoughtful attention to
detail in picking up passing comments and turning them into further opportunities to enhance
our holiday experience added another personal touch that we really appreciated. An example of
this was Rachel observing our interest in the 4th July decorations ready for the celebrations the
next day. A couple of phone calls later and we were able to stay on in Page, Arizona to join in
the fun.
The tour vehicle was roomy, comfortable and clean and the hotels we stayed at were all lovely,
well located with full amenities including a pool.
A few of our many memorable highlights on this tour include Rachel securing a prime camp spot
for our stay in Monument Valley, right in front of the monuments where we were able to see the
sunrise with unimpeded views, swimming in Lake Powell, guided Navajo tour through Antelope
Canyon, hiking below the rim into the Grand Canyon, a horse trail ride down into the floor of
Bryce Canyon, visiting Horseshoe Bend and the kids completing their Junior Ranger Programs
in Bryce and Grand Canyon National Parks.
Rachel's knowledge of the South-West is immense and it's easy to see she thoroughly enjoys
what she does. So proactive and enthusiastic, her energy was infectious making us eager to try
things we might not have thought of. We would thoroughly recommend it if you're
considering venturing to this part of the USA.Read full review
It was a great 7 days tour with Bradley as our guide! Brad was great! he is so helpful and
making sure each enjoyed the most of the trip :) all the destinations were a WOW for me, all are
in my bucket list and can't believe I could visit th..em all in one go! Make sure you drink A LOT of
water! but Brad always made sure we have enough water whenever we reach each stop, and
he would prepare enough ICE and WATER in our van :)) the campsites were all GOOD! with
toilets and showers, the monument valley campsite was definite the best campsite ever with that
VIEWWW~ and I got to meet so many nice people around the world in my tour, we got to hike
together in early morning, setting up camps and eat together in amazing places... definitely a
MUST DO if you would like to experience Utah! thank you Brad!Read full review
The communication at this company was terrrible. After we initially purchased our tickets, we received absolutely no more notification of what to do or where to meet. Not a week before our trip, or even the day of. When we didn’t find any..one who was supposed to be picking us up at the airport on time, we called the emergency number and a lady with a strong Chinese accent picked up on the other end but she didn’t understand me, I couldn’t understand her, and so she hung up on me after saying she didn’t know how to help me.
After receiving a strange call from a California number from a man with a strong Asian accent I couldn’t confidently understand, we were approached and hauled off to a bus that brought us to a hotel where we waited for 3 hours standing around before starting our trip.
On day 1, we did not see anything besides our hotel. Despite it appearing that we would start touring then and despite that we still had to pay a $9 service fee. On day 2, our itenerary stated we would see Lake Powell. We didn't even stop. For the Bryce National Canyon stop, we drove 5 hours from where we were (not including the lengthy bathroom stops because you can’t use the bathrooms on the bus) to make ONE stop at Bryce Canyon for LESS than 40 minutes.
We spent more time at Chinese buffets than at Bryce Canyon, Grand Teton, and Zion National Park combined! We went out of our way to get to some of these Chinese buffets, which resulted in more time waiting around on the bus, because the tour guide would get to eat free for bringing in a bus full of people.
Besides spending more time eating than at the actual destinations, we spent just as much time at bathrooms along the way. There is a bathroom on the tour bus but if it’s used it will make the entire bus smell like sewage. You would stop for a bathroom every 2 or 2 and 1/2 hours and EVERY female on the bus used the bathroom EVERY time so there would always be extensively long wait times for that reason. Our tour guide would specify a time to be back by the bus at and most travelers did not abide by that (and faced no consequences) and we waited for longer than expected or also, we sometimes had to wait because there were still people in line for the bathrooms since lines were so long.
Also, it may be important to note this specific tour was much more focused on Asian customers than American. My boyfriend and I were the ONLY non Asian people on the bus. There’s nothing wrong with that although, it did make us feel uncomfortable with some of the looks and reactions we got and we also felt left out when our tour guide would speak more in Chinese than English and failed to ensure we also knew what was going on. His English was not the most clear and there were multiple occasions we didn’t understand what we were supposed to be doing or what the money we were giving him was for.
Overall, if you’re looking to see a bunch of places for a very short amount of time, you don’t care about being in a bus for half the day, everyday, you love Chinese buffets, and you prefer your vacations to be a little more sketchy, this is a perfect trip for you. If not, I would suggest you look elsewhere for tour companies or even just pick a few destinations, spend however much time you want there, and be able to actually take in all the destinations for what they’re worth. Good luck.Read full review

This tour is amazing and fun, it's well worth the money. Leo our tour guide is very patient, kind and organized as well. Accomodations are pretty good, cant complain.
I joined three tours with this company, the death valley day tour, 7 day southwest highlights and 7 day yellowstone national park tour. Joel Clark was my tour guide on the death valley and 7 day southwest tour and Mike Brown on the 7 day ye..llowstone tour.
All three tours were amazing. I saw so much of the west coast and so many highlights including Antelope Canyon, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Zion and Bryce national park, Grand Teton, Yellowstone national park etc. Not to mention so many stories about the wild west. I chose the camping option on both 7 day tours and I really encourage choosing this option. You meet alot of people, you can learn how to setup camp if you never gone camping before, you get to be closer to nature and sometimes you can star gaze and possible see the Milky way (I saw it three days in a row).
Joel and Mike are one of the best tour guides I have ever met. They were professional, approachable and have a great personality.
Overall I really enjoyed all tours with Bindlestiff and I really recommend joining one of their tours especially if you are short on time.
You will definitely have fun and Bindlestiff tours will make your trip a memorable one.
Thank you Joel, Mike and Bindlestiff for making my USA trip a memorable one.
Hope to see you guys again in the future.Read full review
Days 1 to 7 were exceptional with Tony as our guide.
Day 8 was also very good with different guide who was helpful with last minute decisions.Day 9 was horrible starting with an angry driver. Very bad planning to the division of guests for.. the different drop off points in LA. Tour guide nor driver were very helpful. ######HAD AN UNPLEASANT NIGHT ON DAY 8 AT SELECTED HOTEL. HANDICAPPED ROOM IN STATE OF RENOVATION. SHOWER WATER WAS FLOWING IN TOILET AREA. SINK OVERFLOWING -WATER CLOGGED IN SINK. MENTIONED TO NIGHT MANAGER WHO TOLD US THAT WE HAD TO WAIT UNTIL THE MORNING. DID NOT MENTION TO TONY AS IT WAS LATE BY THE TIME OF DISCOVERY. My thanks to TONY and 2ND guide.Read full review
Beautiful scenic places, experienced and safe driver, the guide is experienced and responsible but not very caring, told us little information at the start. I think he was tired from working the previous trip and then our trip immediately. ..He improved later on. CTour should give the guides a rest before doing next trip. Tours4Fun should warn in the tour information that the 7 day trip may be challenging for frail elderly due to the nature of visits to different national parks and mountains, the visit to Antelope cave is very challenging for people with mobility issues.Read full review
I just completed my 2nd Bindlestiff Tour and it was just as amazing as the first! This company is top notch. They are there for you from the moment you book until the sad time that the tour ends. The Bindlestiff Tours customer service team ..are amazing- they answer emails extremely quickly and answer all your questions before the tour so you know exactly what to expect. Both Bindlestiff Guides I have had have been great- full of knowledge, enthusiasm and are a constant source interesting facts and stories. The touring vehicles are super comfy and on both my tours brand new, the same as the gear- again top notch high quality making camping extremely comfortable. As for this tour itself, its expertly planned and executed to allow maximum time and enjoyment in the parks. We saw so much more than we expected and had tons of time to explore each park with some fabulous walks in each. Meals were great- healthy, plentiful and they cater for all kinds of diets! I can't say enough about this company and the high standard of tours- I am already planning to join their new Bindlestiff Tours Western Canadian Rockies tour in 2018. Thanks again!Read full review
