Accommodation: A bit cramped but comfortable and all meals on board were very good. Although the boat is 10+ yrs. old and about to get a refit I still believe it was value for what was paid. Diego (****) our guide was outstanding on loca..l knowledge and his interest in flora and fauna. All excursions and visits were very memorable with a nice touch of a CD slide presentation given to each passenger at the end of the trip. I would like to recommend that Diego be given a better camera to take pictures during visits and excursions. I believe the longer trip allowed more appreciation of the area, its people and the country in general. At the start we were two Australians and two Swiss for 3 days and then for the remainder of the trip we were 4 Australians + 1 N.Z.’er. The small group was only to our advantage. I would recommend this to anyone and if they wanted more up market accommodation the have the choice of the Anaconda (Same Company). Read full review
Really appreciated the effort and attention when I was feeling unwell.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. They gave us a wonderful insight into this beautiful country. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Found the canoe trips long to get to points of interest. Enjoyed interacting with local people. Was a nice experience to eat Ecuadorian food- loved the juices, fruit and soups.
Everyone was attentive to our every need. Tasting many new foods prepared in traditional ways- restaurant crew did great a great job.
