Usually I am the itinerary planner in the family. But sometimes my wife Therese jumps in and picks out some things. She was the one who found out about the Distillery District, and I'm glad she did - we had a fun afternoon exploring the Dis..trict, especially on a tour led by one of Segway of Toronto's bright and fun guides! He told us about the history and background of the District and led us through its main buildings. One of the most entertaining details was how the owner of the distillery laundered Prohibition-era smuggling dollars by starting the TD Bank, which is now one of Canada's most respected financial institutions. We finished up with a tasting at Mill Street Brewpub - very impressive and tasty microbrews! What a nice afternoon! Read full review
Jason was super quick with our reservation and the tour itself couldn't have been better. Our guides were equally knowledgable and hilarious. Can't recommend these guys enough if you are in town looking for something out of the ordinary to ..do. Thanks for a great time. Read full review
Our guide, Jason, was excellent and animated. He provided a great deal of information and a few humorous stories. Although I live in Toronto, I've never been to the Distillery District, so I wasn't really familiar with its history. I'm so g..lad that I did this tour. It gave me a new perspective on Toronto's past and showed me a beautiful area right near the city's core. I didn't do the segway tour, I did the walking tour. We stopped at Soma, a chocolatier, and tasted some chocolate. Our tour also consisted of a beer tasting, but it was during the work day and I had to return to work so I had to pass on it. I would definitely recommend this tour for any visitors to our city as well as to an locals who want to get to know their city better. Read full review

Overall it was wonderful and I am going to do it again. Read full review
Wish it was warmer and not snowing on our April 15th visit. However, our guide Jason was very entertaining and knowledgeable of the district. The "sights" only received a 4/5 because of that sorry piece of art which resembles a soother! Soo..ooo out of place. What a beautiful area (despite the soother) we loved the history here would have loved to visit the shops, will definitely bring some friends back for a visit! Cheers! Read full review
