My wife and I took the Banff Gondola ride the 2nd week of October when many of the resorts in the area were closing down for the season. I expected to ride it to the top of the mountain, walk around cold and maybe go to some cheesy gift sh..op and go back down. Was I wrong!!! There were 2 restaurants and the National Parks Department had tons of exhibits and interesting wildlife exhibits. There was also quite a bit of history with a beautiful Welcome Center, an Observation Tower and other hiking paths that were nicely maintained with stairs and decks. Enjoyed the ride on the Banff Gondola. Beautiful scenery. So worth the trip when you get to the top of Sulphur Mountain. 360 degree views of the valley below. Spectacular. The only negative about booking with tours4fun online is that there ..is no option for selecting a time for your activity. I had to call them for instructions as to time. Read full review
