I love this trip. My tourguide Hao Wu he is so cute and very nice person. Thanks L&L Travel.
Very good,I love the iterinaries except the zoo.It should be for adults, maybe shopping in Freeport or the outlets.
Went on this trip with my boyfriend. Departured from 8Ave Brooklyn at around 7:10. The bus took us to Chinatown so that everyone from different departures can get on the same bus that we will be using for the next few days. First day, we st..opped at New Hampshire's Liquor Outlet. Liquor sold with no tax! Then we got to the zoo ($15 per person) at around 3pm and stayed there for an hour. We really enjoyed the zoo even though it was drizzling a tiny bit. It was very cold at the Portland Head Light ($2 per person), got there at 5:30 and stayed until 6. We ate dinner at a Chinese Buffet ($16 per person) at around 7 to 8. Got back to the hotel pretty late at like 10. The second day was Acadia National Park ($30 per person) and a Nature Cruise ($32 per person). We had to be on the bus by 8:30AM. Got to the Park at around 10:15, bought blueberry soda ($2-3 a bottle I believe), and took plenty of pictures. Beautiful scenery but very chilly! Stayed there until 11:15 and then drove for about 15 minutes to Thunder Hole, which was beautiful as well (just an ocean and rocks). Left at 12. Got to the Nature Cruise Port area (Downtown Bar Harbor) at 12:30. Ate food at the restaurant that has the entrance to the Nature Cruise, ordered a chicken burger with fries, and fish tacos with rice for about $30 total. Got on the Nature Cruise at 1:15. It was freezing on the boat! We bought hot chocolate downstairs of the boat for $2.25 each. Wonderful scenery though. We saw seals and passed by a beach! The Cruise was 2 hours long. It ended at 3:15 but we stayed at Downtown Bar Harbor until 6:30, so everyone just walked around and went into the village-looking stores/restaurants. This is where people ate dinner too. My boyfriend and I decided to try lobster icecream at the famous Ben & Bill's! It was just buttery vanilla icecream with chunks of lobster inside ($6.50 for about 4-5 scoops in a cup). I wouldn't say it was worth it but it was worth a try. Got back to the hotel at around 8:15. Ordered Domino's pizza at around 10-11, even though we had to be on the bus by 6:30 the next morning. The third day we got to Mystic, Connecticut at around 1PM. Everyone went to Mystic Aquarium ($30 per person) but my boyfriend and I decided to opt out on that, as we didn't see it was worth the price for just an hour stay. We went to a little plaza/outlet nearby to get Starbucks and then went into Hanes (clothing store) and found Champion clothing on sale for 12 bucks an item (hoodies, crewnecks, sweatpants, zip-up hoodies, etc.!) Bought a lot of pieces back home (New York City) for our friends. Everyone had to be back on the bus by 2:15, and then it was time to go to Mystic Museum. My boyfriend and I opted out on that too, as it was $29 per person and only an hour was spent there as well. After that, we were headed back to NYC. We got back to Flushing at around 7:15, then got to Chinatown at around 8PM. Overall, it was a great trip. Lots of money was spent but lots of memories were created as well! There was also an $8 service fee for the bus driver, per person and per day! So in total we paid $48 in tip for the both of us. The tour guide, David, was very nice! He texts everyone the day before the trip starts as a reminder and you can text/call him during the trip if you have any questions. Read full review
