I booked this tour for my 76 year old father and me to travel from Boston to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, and Salem. It already cost $330 and we were told that entrance fees to the park were not included. However, at 7:30 PM the night ..before the trip, I was texted to bring an additional $120 per person for excursion fees, entrance fees, and the bus driver! They did not tell us that they was a Harbor cruise that we had to pay for or that the bus driver was not being paid already through our ticket. Additionally, after a long day of driving, we left Bar Harbor to go to our hotel. It took us another hour and a half to get to this 2 star hotel. I thought our money would have paid for something a little nicer. Also, my dad can not walk well, and they gave us the room furthest from the entrance. He had to stop to catch his breath just to make it down the hall. The next day started fine. Breakfast was decent and the harbor cruise was worth the extra money. However, when we were leaving for Boston, the bus driver missed a turn and made us late for our Salem Witch Museum tour. The tour guide did not let us know until it was too late and we went straight back to Boston. We missed Salem completely! They did return $14 each to us for the cost of the museum, which was out of the additional $120 we were told to bring. I tried contacting the company through email and calling to ask for a partial refund, and they said they would get back to me. That was 3 days ago. I do not recommend this company if you like to know what you are spending, and if you like to do all the tours that they guarantee on the itinerary. Read full review
