Summary of The Day: After an early breakfast we'll begin our amazing Uganda safari and set off from Kampala, traveling westwards to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Our journey will take approximately 9-10 hours, but we'll stop along the way for a delicious lunch and to see the Ugandan Equator Monument, where we'll have the opportunity to stand in two hemispheres at the same time and take some photographs.
We'll continue through the beautiful verdant rolling hills to the town of Mbarara for lunch and then arrive in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in the later afternoon. Then we'll check into our accommodation and relax with a delicious dinner.
Summary of The Day: Today, prepare yourself for a thrilling and scenic journey into the Bwindi Forest for our gorilla trekking experience. After an early breakfast, we'll head to the park headquarters where you will be briefed by the guides before you begin the search in the thick Bwindi forest for the giant gorillas.
Bwindi National Park is renowned for its impressive mountain gorillas, although it is unpredictable for how long you will track before finding them since it all depends on their movement. Though the time spent to track down these Gorillas is unpredictable, the thrill of spending time and observing these gentle giant gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure that will leave you with long lasting memories.
Afterwards you will return to your lodge to rest and later go for a cultural walk to interact with the local people. You will participate in captivating traditional performances presented by women’s groups or orphaned children groups.
