Summary of The Day: We meet at 6:00pm for a welcome meet and greet, and then head off on an orientation walk. Phnom Penh is a busy South East Asian town with plenty of sights on offer.
If you arrive early you'll have free time to explore on your own, so make sure to check out the Silver Pagoda, the Royal Palace, and take a walk along the river front. It’s your first night on tour, so dinner and drinks are mandatory.
Summary of The Day: Today we'll learn about Cambodia's fascinating, if dark history! We'll visit the Killing Fields Museum and the (S21) Prison to learn about the country's military past. It’s a heavy experience, but not one you’ll regret. In the evening take a walk alongside the riverside and take in the atmosphere over some evening drinks.
Summary of The Day: In the morning we'll leave early and head to the river town of Kampot. There we'll visit the cool, misty Bokor mountain, sunset cruise up the river, kayak, fish, windsurf, and immerse ourselves in the provincial capital!
Summary of The Day: And now to the beach! The coast is beautiful, and on arrival you’ll feel very refreshed after the busy capital city. So kick back and relax with cocktails and sunbathing or chase frisbees across the shore and dive into the gorgeous waves.
There’s some lively nightlife here so we'll go to a great restaurant tonight, followed by some bar hopping.
Summary of The Day: Today we're free to continue relaxing on the gorgeous Cambodian coast! There are some great value diving opportunities here and boat trips to the nearby islands. Choose what you’re doing for dinner yourself tonight, but because it's your last night make sure it's something unique and memorable!
Summary of The Day: Today we'll travel from the relaxing Sihanoukville to the lively city of Battambang. Take some time to enjoy the gorgeous landscape along our trip. We take a stop at the floating villages of the Battambang province and grab lunch. When we arrive at the old French colonial city we’ll go for a quick orientation walk before dinner and drinks.
Summary of The Day: Early in the morning you'll have the chance to check out Nory, an eensy-weensy-cute-little bamboo train and tourist attraction. After that we'll head off to Siem Reap.
Summary of The Day: Ready, set….and…Go!
Run out in the sunshine and explore the incredible 1000 year old temples of Siem Reap, particularly the famous Angor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world. With an area covering over 400 square kilometers, there is no way you'll see all the temples, but you can certainly try!
The end of the tour is tomorrow so you’re welcome to spend as long as you like exploring this place. It’s worth staying a bit longer in Siem Reap as a trip to the floating village is a must. Exhausted or not exhausted let’s all say our good byes over some drinks back at pub street!
Summary of The Day: After breakfast our tour we'll come to an end.
