Summary of The Day: Drive along the famous stretch of Batu Ferringhi beaches for a panoramic view of the ocean. We will have brief stop at a traditional fisherman village, before heading out to the Batik factory to see and learn the traditional techniques of producing this exquisite Malay textile using wax and dye.
Driving past the dam, & fruit plantations, we will stop at a fruit stall for an introduction to local fruits, nutmeg, and cloves.
Visit the famous Snake Temple, and explore the fascinating Kek Lok Si Temple, known as the Temple of Ten Thousand Buddha’s – one of the most beautiful, and the largest Chinese Buddhist Temple Complex in South East Asia.
Last stop, take a chance to ascend the Penang Hill via funicular train up to 800 meters above sea level before heading back to your hotel.
