Summary of The Day: Travel along the scenic locks and pathways of Ottawa on this half day bike tour to discover the best attractions and sites in the city!
We'll begin our tour as we bike along the canal pathway, learning the history of the canal along the way, and make a short detour to visit the Glebe, Carleton University and visit beautiful Hog's Back Falls. We'll continue along the Rideau Canal, visiting the spectacular Arboretum, Fletcher Wild Life Garden, the Experimental Farm and the Canada Food and Agriculture Museum.
We'll stop for a delicious lunch in trendy Little Italy and Dow's Lake. Then we'll continue our ride to the beautiful Ottawa River pathway. From here we'll bike along Sir John A. MacDonald Parkway to Downtown Ottawa, home to numerous Ottawa attractions, including the powerful War Museum.
Next we'll take a short detour to the province of Quebec, where you will see a spectacular view of Downtown Ottawa. On our route back to our starting point you will see the National Gallery of Canada, Byward Market and the Parliament Hill!
This tour is ideal for visitors with limited time or families with younger children!
