Summary of The Day: Our exciting tour will begin as we depart New York City heading northeast through New York state to Connecticut to visit the world famous Yale University in New Haven. Yale's alumni include former United States presidents, senators, famous lawyers and many others.
We'll then continue through Connecticut to Massachusetts. Our first stop is the city of Cambridge, where we will find one of the most famous and most prestigious universities in the world - Harvard. Our tour starts with a walk in Harvard Yard, the oldest academic ground in America. We'll see Widener Library and then rub the shoe of John Harvard for good luck!
We next take a panoramic city tour passing by city hall, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Cambridge College.
Afterwards, we'll cross the Charles River to Boston to visit Copley Square containing the beautiful Trinity Church. Next up is a walk along the Freedom Trail through Boston Common. We'll break for lunch at Quincy Market. You'll be able to try the world famous clam chowder or a lobster roll.
After lunch, we'll visit the site of the famous Boston Tea Party and the Navy ship Constitution. During the early evening, we'll head north to Nashua to our hotel that we'll stay overnight.
Summary of The Day: During the morning, we'll depart north through the mountains of New Hampshire crossing into Vermont. We'll stop for a visit to Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory. We'll next head to the picturesque New England town of Stowe, where we can find the Trapp Family Lodge owned by the family that the legendary film "The Sound of Music" is based upon.
We'll then cross the border into Canada and head to the town of Trois Rivieres. Upon arrival, we'll embark on a city tour.
Summary of The Day: After breakfast, we'll head east along the St. Lawrence River to the only walled city in North America - Quebec City. We'll see the Latin Quarter, Plains of Abraham, Ramparts, Chateau Frontenac, National Assembly, Basilica, City Hall and Place-Royale - the birthplace of French civilization in North America. We'll also tour the Citadelle. We'll stop for lunch at one of the many sidewalk cafes.
After lunch, we'll set sail on a captivating 90-minute cruise on the beautiful St. Lawrence River. A costumed guide will reveal the fascinating history of Quebec City, the river and its surroundings. Relax on the outside terraces and enjoy the exceptional view of the old fortifications, Chateau Frontenac, Montmorency Falls, Ile d'Orleans and the Laurentian Mountains.
During the afternoon, we'll return to Troise Rivieres to stay overnight.
Summary of The Day: After breakfast, we'll head west along the St. Lawrence River to Montreal - Canada’s largest French city. Our tour will start with Old Town and the Basilica of Notre Dame. We'll then move on to city hall, St Joseph’s Oratory and Mount Royal (the city’s namesake) for a bird’s eye view of the city. From the mountain top, we'll descend to the underground city that stretches for miles and includes stores, restaurants, movie theaters and more.
During the evening, we can visit the old port, including Jack Cartier Square. You'll be able to enjoy the evening watching the street performers and partake in the vibrant nightlife.
Summary of The Day: We'll depart Montreal heading south through the Quebec province crossing the border back into the United States.
We'll continue south along Lake Champlain and stop in Saratoga Springs. We'll stroll through the rolling parks and visit the Saratoga Monument, a 155-foot obelisk commemorating the American victory in the Battle of Saratoga.
After our visit to Saratoga, we'll head south to the “Outlet Shopping Mecca” of Woodbury Commons. Find your own bargains from brand name stores for less.
We'll then return to New York City during the evening.

When the tour ends on Day 5, all guests will be dropped off at the same location at around 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm (without any unpredictable delays).
