Summary of The Day: Your guide will wait for you at Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL).
Passengers arriving between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm have the option of being dropped off in downtown Montreal, where you will be free to explore Chinatown, Old Montreal, Notre Dame Basilica and many other attractions. Then you must be self transferred to hotel.
Summary of The Day: In the morning we'll depart for Mount Royal, the symbol of the city. From the observation deck we'll see a stunning view of the whole city and the St. Lawrence River. Next we'll visit the Saint Joseph's Oratory, the largest church in Canada.
Then we'll go to the Olympic Game Park of Montreal, where the 1976 Summer Olympic was held. Take the elevator to a huge 175-metre tower – the tallest inclined structure in the world to have a panoramic view (own expense). Next we'll explore the famous Montreal Biodome, one of the top tourism attractions in the city. Discover a variety of animals live in simulated habitat, ranging from the macaws in the Tropical Forest, to the lynx in the Laurentian Forest, to the penguins in the Antarctica.
After lunch we'll visit the Notre Dame Cathedral which has the gorgeous interior decoration. We'll have free time in the old port of Montreal to bring you back to the year of 17th century in Europe. Afterwards, we'll shop at St. Catherine street and famous underground city. After dinner enjoy the charming nightlife in Montreal.
Summary of The Day: In the morning we'll depart for Ottawa, the capital of Canada. Upon arrival we'll visit the Parliament Hill, the political as well as cultural centre of Canada. Afterwards, take a sightseeing cruise (own expense) on the Rideau Canal which connects Ottawa to Kingston and is the oldest continuously operated canal system in North America, which was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007. After lunch we'll visit Canadian Museum of Civilization (admission not included), the most popular and the most visited museum in Canada.
Then we'll visit the Rideau Hall, the official residence as well as the principal workplace of the Governor General of Canada since 1867. Finally, we'll visit the Royal Canadian Mint, where the hand-crafted collector and commemorative coins, gold bullion coins, and medals are produced.
We'll leave Ottawa in the evening and arrive in Montreal at night.
Summary of The Day: In the morning we'll head to Quebec City, the oldest city in North America.
First stop will be at the Capital Observatory, the tallest building in the city, where we'll receive a panoramic view of the city (own expense). Afterwards you will have free time to visit the Old Quebec City. As the only fortified city in North America, Quebec City has a history of more than 400 years. Discover Quebec City from many different angles: politics, military, history, heritage, architecture and so much more. Then explore the Petit Champlain, the oldest commercial street in North America.
After lunch, we'll go to Montmorency Falls, the largest waterfalls in the Province of Quebec at 83 meters high. By taking a sightseeing cable car to the top of the Falls we can admire the beauty and the magnificence of the St. Lawrence River and its surrounding areas and feel the power of the Falls (own expense).
Then we'll visit Canyon Sainte-Anna, also known as the Grand Canyon of Quebec. Three suspension foot bridges cross the canyon, including one of 60 meters above the river, which makes it possible to appreciate depth of the canyon.
We'll depart Quebec City in the evening and head back to Montreal.
Summary of The Day: After breakfast in hotel, you will be transferred to airport to take the flight back home or continue your trip to other city.
