We read about this on TripAdvisor.com and decided to give it a whirl. SO glad we did! Our guide was the gracious, delightful, and knowledgeable Erin Belanger. Since it was just the two of us with Erin, and because we adapted quickly to the ..Segway and were game to really move out, we covered about 8 miles in two hours: Gaslamp Quarter, Balboa Park, and the waterfront. Riding a Segway is great fun; but although you're standing for the whole time, you're using foot, calf, and leg muscles in ways you might not be used to. We had "Segway legs" at the end. But we would have kept going if time permitted. HIGHLY re ommended!!! Erin, you totally rock!

Our family just spend a perfect 2.5 hours on Segway. Another Side of San Diego Tours and especially Erin our tour guide made our Christmas Day at Balboa Park VERY, VERY memorable. She went out of her way to tell us detail stories and show u..p all the interesting places on the way and throughout the Balboa Park. We had a great time and will recommend this tour to all our friends. Recommending Erin could cause to much demand for her to guide tours, but if you happen to run into her as a tour guide you are guaranteed to have a great time. We took the Gaslamp Segway tour. What a ride! We zipped all over downtown, the embarkadero and Balboa Park. The Segway is easy to learn and lots of fun.
