Paris

Welcome to Paris! 

Upon entering the arrivals hall at the airport, you will be greeted by our driver and transferred to the hotel. Our guide will be at the hotel to give an overview of the tour.

In the evening, we'll head to the Montmartre district. You'll be free to explore on your own here and choose from a variety of restaurants (own expense).

Paris

We'll begin our experience with a guided tour of the main boulevards and breathtaking attractions of Paris. After seeing the highlights, we'll visit the monumental Eiffel Tower and climb up to the second floor of this remarkable giant for stunning views of the city.

We'll end the day with a cruise on the River Seine. The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore the city on your own. In the evening we'll head to the Latin Quarter, where you may choose from a great selection of restaurants for dinner (own expense).

Day 03
Amiens

Hotel: Ibis Centre Cathedrale or similar

Before saying farewell to Paris we'll enjoy some free time at center of the city, near the Louvre Museum for some free time and self-guided exploration. If you wish we can accompany you to Benlux, one of the most prestigious perfumeries in Paris (own expense).

At around 5:30pm we'll bid adieu to Paris and make our way to Amiens, famous for its cathedral and beautiful historic center along the river. Accommodations for the evening are in Amiens.

Day 04
London

Amiens - Canterbury - London

Hotel: Holiday Inn Express London Wimbledon South or similar

Leaving Amiens behind us we'll journey to the north of France. In Eperlecques we'll visit an historic bunker (admission included), from which V1 and V2 missiles were fired at England.

From here we'll cross the English Channel by ferry, ultimately arriving in Canterbury, the religious capital of England with a very attractive historic center.

Once in London we'll transfer you to the lively Soho district for dinner (own expense).

Day 05
London

Today, get to know London on a locally guided tour which will lead you to the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace, where, depending on the season, you just might see the Changing of the Guard.

If you wish, later on, you can go on an optional excursion to the London Eye (own expense).

At 5:00pm, after your allotted free time, we'll invite you to a traditional afternoon tea. Afterwards, we'll provide transfers to Brick Lane, a London area brimming with life, art galleries, food stalls, and ethnic restaurants.

Day 06
Harwich

London - Colchester - Harwich

Hotel: Cabins Aboard Overnight Ferry or similar

After breakfast we'll head to Bond Street, venerated throughout the world for its elegant boutiques, exclusive brands and designs, luxury items, exquisite jewelry, and fine art and antiques. Following some free time to window shop, we'll regroup at around 4:00pm and drive to the ancient city of Colchester.

After a quick stroll through the town we'll board the overnight ferry to Holland in Harwich, with en-suite cabins.

Tips:
The ferry has a limited number of cabins. In the event of unavailability, we'll leave London at 3:00pm and take the railway tunnel under the English Channel, spending the night in Antwerp.

Amsterdam

Hoek van Holland - Volendam - Amsterdam

At around eight in the morning we'll reach Hoek Van Holland and visit Volendam, a picturesque fishing village.

Afterwards we'll travel to Amsterdam for a panoramic tour of the city, to see its narrow canals, and unique buildings and public areas. We'll also visit a diamond factory to see how these precious gems are cut. Later we'll transfer you to the Red Light District for free time and dinner (own expense).

Day 08
Berlin

Amsterdam - Hamelin - Berlin

Hotel: Mercure Berlin City West or similar

Say farewell to Amstedam as we cross the border into Germany. Along the way we'll stop in Hamelin, setting of the famous Pied Piper tale.

In the late afternoon, we'll arrive at our destination: Berlin, one of the most famous cities in Germany. We'll spend the evening in the lively Jewish quarter and have dinner (own expense) before we head back to the hotel.

Today we'll ease our way into the local culture with a guided tour of Berlin.

First, we'll visit the historic center: Museum Island, the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate and the city's magnificent parks, continuing with a visit to the Holocaust Memorial and Berlin Wall Museum.

Afterwards you'll have free time to explore on your own. In the evening we'll take you to the lively area of Kantstrasse for dinner (own expense).

Day 10
Prague

Berlin - Dresden - Prague

Today we'll journey through the forests of Germany to the great city of Dresden, now one of the most popular destinations in Europe thanks to recent restoration efforts.

You'll have free time to explore the impressive Church of Our Lady (Frauenkirche) and Zwinger Palace, as well as enjoy lunch at Dresden's many fine restaurants and coffee shops (own expense).

Later, we'll make our way to Prague in the Czech Republic, heading to Old Town Square in the afternoon. This vibrant spot is full of activities and things to do - a great place to acquaint oneself with Prague.

Day 11
Prague

Today we'll uncover Prague's amazing history and unmatched monuments, including a visit to the gorgeous Prague Castle. Afterwards, we'll take a cruise on the Vltava River.

You'll have free time to explore on your own and, in the evening, we'll transfer you to the historic city center, where you can dine at one of the myriad Czech eateries (own expense).

Day 12
Innsbruck

Prague - Munich - Innsbruck

Leaving Prague, we'll arrive in Munich, the capital of Bavaria and the third largest city in Germany, and head to Olympiapark München to visit the futuristic BMW Museum with its fascinating architecture and multi-media exhibition.

After free time to explore Munich's historic city center, we'll regroup and make our way to Innsbruck in Austria. There you'll be given time to relax, perambulate, or sip on a coffee. Enjoy an evening at the Inn River district, offering a variety of local and ethnic cuisines.

Day 13
Zurich

Innsbruck - Swarovski Crystal Worlds - Zurich

We'll begin our day with a visit to Swarovski Crystal Worlds. We'll visit its impressive gardens and learn how pieces of crystal are crafted. After a quick break we'll take the train from Innsbruck to Zurich, a pleasant 3-hour ride through magical landscapes.

Day 14
Lucerne

Zurich - Interlaken - Grindelwald - Lucerne - Zurich

Prepare to be mesmerized by beautiful landscapes defined by pristine lakes and soaring mountain peaks. Take a stroll through Interlaken with ample time for a coffee break before we take the cable car (ticket included) up to Grindelwald-First.

There we'll take a 30-minute walk among fantastic scenery with glaciers all around us.

After that we'll continue to Lucerne, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Once back in Zurich, we'll take you to eat at one of the most popular restaurants in Zurich (own expense).

Lunch is included (vegetarian option available).
Day 15
Milan

Zurich - Bern - Meiringen - Furka Pass - Milan

On Day 8 we'll travel to Bern, the capital of the confederation. Following free time for a stroll through Old Town Bern, we'll begin our ascent into and across the Alps, stopping for lunch in Meiringen. Then we'll cross one of the most spectacular mountain passes in Switzerland: Furka Pass, home to eternal snow and glaciers. We'll stop at the ice cave, as well as the lookout over the Rhone Glacier. Accommodations for the evening are in Milan.

Tips:
During the colder months - early October to early June - the mountain pass may be closed due to snow, in which case we will visit Aare Gorge instead of Furka Pass.
Day 16
Pisa

Milan - Pisa - Rome

Hotel: American Palace / Cristoforo Colombo or similar

You'll have time in Milan to visit the magnificent cathedral (Il Duomo) and the famous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. Then we'll continue on to Pisa, taking the tourist train to the Square of Miracles, where you will have ample time to admire one of the most alluring and beautiful collections of architecture in Italy, including the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then we'll continue to Rome, arriving in the late afternoon.

Day 17
Vatican City

Rome - Vatican City

Hotel: American Palace / Cristoforo Colombo or similar

We'll start with a panoramic tour of Rome, followed by a visit to Vatican City and St. Peter's Basilica. Admission to the iconic Colosseum is also included in your package.

In the evening we'll provide transport to the Via Cavour area, were you will find restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese and international cuisine (own expense).

Day 18
Madrid

After breakfast we'll transfer you to the airport for a flight at around 11:00am to Madrid. Upon entering the arrivals hall we will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Towards the end of the day, we also provide transfers to the Egyptian Debod temple, Plaza de España and Gran Via, a vibrant district where you can dine at the restaurant of your choice (own expense).

This morning, experience the city on a guided tour, showcasing the beautiful Plaza Mayor, the city's broad and magnificent avenues, and myriad fountains.

We'll also tour the interior of Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas, a gorgeous building that showcases the city's great architecture. Here we'll learn about the tradition of corridas (running with the bulls) in the museum. Next, we'll take a walking tour of beautiful Retiro Park, enhanced by the lake and Crystal Palace.

Afterwards you'll be free to explore on your own. If you wish, there is an optional, own-expense visit to the Royal Palace.

At sunset we'll head to Plaza de Oriente in the historic center of Madrid where you can enjoy dinner (own expense).

Day 20
Barcelona

Madrid - Zaragoza - Montserrat - Barcelona

We'll depart early in the morning from Madrid and head towards the stunning region of Aragon, stopping in the city of Zaragoza. Here we'll visit the magnificent Basilica del Pilar and then enjoy some free time in the city center.

Later, we'll make our way to Catalunya and admire impressive rocky landscapes, making a special side trip to Montserrat Monastery (rack railway fare included). Then we'll arrive at today's destination, Barcelona!

We'll head to the Plaza de Colon and Maremagnum, a vibrant area right next to the sea. This is where the most innovative spirit of the city blends with its deep historic character.

Tips:
From April to October, we will also visit Poblet Monastery (admission and guided tour included).
Day 21
Barcelona

Today we'll get to know Barcelona, an impressive city right on the Mediterranean. Our visit includes an informative city tour with a local expert and visit to the city’s historic central area with its Gothic quarter dating back to the Middle Ages. Then we will visit the area where the Olympic Games took place, as well as La Sagrada Familia, the magnificent basilica designed by architect Gaudi (admission not included).

Afterwards, we'll head to Poble Espanyol (Spanish Village), an open-air architectural museum in one of the most emblematic areas of Barcelona. Be delighted by the best Spanish craftsmanship and discover the architectural styles, traditions and folklore of the different communities in Spain.

Then you'll have free time to explore the city on your own. In the evening we'll head to Las Ramblas and Plaza Cata­lunya area, where you can select from a great variety of restaurants for dinner.

Day 22

Barcelona

Our grand tour of Europe concludes just after breakfast at the hotel. Onward to new adventures!

Your reservation is always subject to confirmation by email, normally within one to two business days.

* Child: 3-15 years of age (minimum one adult per child).
* Children below the age of 3 pay 20% of the double room rate. Please leave a note if you are traveling with an infant so that customer service can make the necessary adjustments.
* Prices for Single Occupancy apply when one person stays in one standard hotel room.
* Prices for Double/Triple Occupancy apply when two/three people stay in one standard hotel room respectively.

Reservation Info

    1.Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a Receipt of Reservation via email.
    2. Within one to two business days of submitting your reservation you will receive a confirmation email from us. If you need to book an airline ticket, we recommend that you do so after you receive a confirmation of your tour reservation from us.
    3. An E-Ticket will be sent to you via email as soon as details of your reservation are confirmed or your supporting information is received by us. We will provide you with all detailed information about your tour on the E-Ticket. Contact information for local tour provider will be included on E-Ticket for your convenience or re-confirmation purpose if re-confirmation is required.
