Summary of The Day: When you arrive in New York City, our tour guide will be waiting for you at the following locations:
**Customers who arrive before 1:00 pm at LGA and JFK who meet at the airport Baggage Claim Areas will transfer to Flushing or Chinatown for lunch and shopping. Transportation to hotel will depart at 3:00 pm from Flushing or 4:00 pm from Chinatown.
**For those of you who prefer EWR, upon arrival you can take our shuttle to the hotel for some rest.
Customers whose plane touches down in New York before 5:00 pm are invited to join us for a three-hour tour of New York City after the sun goes down. Please speak to your tour guide when you meet them about joining this tour (subject to availability, own expense).
Summary of The Day: Heading to the north, we'll visit the world-largest museum of glass – Corning Museum of Glass (admission not included). Here we can view more than forty-five thousand glass art pieces and live hot glass shows to learn how these gorgeous pieces of art are crafted.
Then we'll continue on our way to Old Fort Niagara and the most spectacular natural attraction – Niagara Falls. After we arrive at the great falls, we can take the Maid of the Mist cruise to get up close and personal with them (April to October, own expense).
Afterwards, we can enjoy the Spirit of the Mist show to learn about the relationship between the falls and the local Native American tries (own expense). In the evening you can also stay near the falls to see the Niagara Illumination Show where colorful lights are reflected off the roaring falls (own expense).
Summary of The Day: In the morning, we will go to the Goat Island which located on the Niagara River. The island separates the great falls, allow us to see the waves as the crash over the side.
After visiting the American Falls, we'll see the Niagara Falls IMAX Movie to learn about the history of the falls (own expense).
Later, we'll take the Thousand Island cruise (seasonal, own expense) to view the lovely mansions and castles that dot this gorgeous region.
In the evening we will arrive in New York State’s capital city - Albany - to visit the magnificent New York State Capitol Building.
Summary of The Day: In the morning, we will visit world's first-class universities in Cambridge: Harvard and MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). With the in-depth Harvard tour you'll get to see the university from a student's perspective.
Then we'll make our way to the capital and the largest city in Massachusetts – Boston. Here we'll visit Quincy Market to have lunch and taste the delicious New England clam chowder (own expense). Then we will pass through the Holy Trinity Church and John Hancock Tower, which is the tallest building in the New England region.
At the end of our day, we will reach Boston Seaport and take the Boston Harbor cruise (own expense), where we'll receive a panoramic view of Boston. After taking the cruise, we will have a chance to take Boston's most famous Boston lobster for dinner (own expense).
Summary of The Day: In the morning, we will go to the smallest State in the United States - Rhode Island - home to a large amount of wealthy families. We'll visit the Breakers Mansion (admission not included), which was the Vanderbilt family's summer palace in the United States. After visiting Rhode Island State, we'll head to New Haven to visit another world-famous university - Yale University. Here we'll enjoy an in-depth tour of Yale and learn about its rich history and achievements.
Then we will return to New York to end our tour.
