Bike ride through the spectacular Prague countryside in the Cesky Kras area on your way to the 650 year old Karlstejn Castle, a "Czech treasure." This gothic castle, with enchanting monumental architecture, is located southwest of Prague. It is one of Czech's most visited castles and was built by King Charles IV between 1348 and1355. Karlstejn Castle once held royal, imperial and coronation jewels as well as an state documents. Our bike trip begins from the Praha Bike office in the center of Prague. Following a path along the Vltava and Berounka Rivers, we will enjoy an approximately 4.5 hour bike ride. Upon arrival, eat lunch at the village before your 1 hour tour of the castle and its surrounding area. Explore Karlstejn Castle´ interior as your guide introduces you to the castle's history, the life of Charles IV, his era and cultural impact. Enjoy a relaxing return trip to Prague by train. Our trip ends at the Praha Bike office at approximately 6:00 p.m. Tour Duration: Approximate 9 HOURS Meeting Point (subject to change): Narodni street 38, Prague 1 Please go to the meeting point by your own. |
Special Notes
- Tour departs at 9:00am. Please arrive at the departure location 20 mins prior. At the end of the tour, customers will be dropped off at the Gray Line stand located at 38 Narodni Street, Prague.
- The available tour language for this tour is English ONLY.
- Spring/Summer: wear lightweight clothing and comfortable shoes.
Fall/Winter: wear layered clothing in the winter to ensure comfort in the cold weather.
Reservation Process and E-Ticket
1.Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a Receipt of Reservation via email.
2. Within one to two business days of submitting your reservation you will receive a confirmation email from us. If you need to book an airline ticket, we recommend that you do so after you receive a confirmation of your tour reservation from us.
3. An E-Ticket will be sent to you via email as soon as details of your reservation is confirmed or your supporting information is received by us. We will provide you with all detailed information about your tour on the E-Ticket. Contact information for local tour provider will be included on E-Ticket for your convenience or re-confirmation purpose if re-confirmation is required.
4. Simply print your E-Ticket and present it with your valid photo ID on the day of your activity to your tour guide. Please remember E-Ticket is your proof of purchase.
