Visit the most important archaeological zone in the Yucatan, the ancient capital of the Mayan Empire due to its extraordinary architecture beauty and its geographical location, founded in the year 514 where you can admire the majestic Observatory, the Sacred Cenote where sacrifices took place, the Ball Cort, the largest Ball Game in Mesoamerica; it is 168 meter in length and 70 meters in width, with a perfect acoustic; Pyramid of Kukulcan, where both theology and astronomy combine to produce a unique spectacle twice a year, the Spring Equinox and the Autumn Solstice, days when the shadows projected over the architectonic elements of the building resemble a serpent descending to the ground.


Itinerary:
Our excursion begins picking up all the passengers from 9:00am to 10:00am at the lobby of all the major Cancun hotels.
We arrive at Mayaland hotel around 1:00pm to take a delicious buffet lunch with typical Yucatan dishes as well as poultry, hamburgers and salad bar while watching regional people dancing folkloric music. Now we are ready to get into the archaeological site by the private gate of Mayaland.
Once inside, we will divide groups into English and Spanish speaking and take 1.5 hour guided tour with a certified guide that will talk to us about the history and the secrets of the Mayans and will point out the most improtant sites and enjoy free time to walk around or take some pictures and enjoy the 2 x 1 at Mayaland bar.
Then we will get together again to see the Light and Sound Show that begins at 8:00pm in spring/summer and at 7:00pm in autumn/winter where you can listen and admire a projected light shadow over the archaeological elements of the buldings that resemble a serpent descending to the ground. Mayan warriors playing the ball game and the sound of death and life. This is an exciting show full of history, light effects and awesome ancestry.

Only with us you can get in and out as many times as you want from the archaeological site because we use a pravite entrance steps away from Mayaland and enjoy the swimming pools.
