Amsterdam

Amsterdam

Hotel: Hampton by Hilton Amsterdam Schipol Airport or similar

There is so much to see and do in Amsterdam - picturesque but bohemian in nature. Take notice of the older, slender canal-side buildings that lean forward slightly - this is so that furniture can be hoisted on a pulley up to the top window. The passageways are too narrow for furniture to be carried up the stairs! The Anne Frank Museum and original house is a favorite among tourists. Other recommended sights include the Oude Kerk (Old Church) and Waterlooplein, a permanent market famous for unusual secondhand goods, jewelry, and art. Alternatively, wander the canals and enjoy the local cafes. Just watch out for the bicycles - they rule the streets!

Breakfast is included.
