Montgomery

Alabama's state capital is situated along the Alabama River and is the state's second largest city. Montgomery was incorporated in 1819 and named after American Revolutionary War Major General Richard Montgomery. Points of interest are the Alabama Capitol Building, Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, Montgomery Zoo, The First White House of the Confederacy, The Hank Williams Museum and the Museum of Alabama.
