Chelsea Art Galleries
The New York City neighborhood of Chelsea is known for its booming art scene and expanding galleries. Many art galleries migrated to Chelsea from Soho in the mid 1990's, establishing Chelsea as the home to some of New York's best art. From 16th Street to 27th Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues, there are more than 350 art galleries. Most of the art displayed are modern that come from some of art's best up-and-coming artists.
