A former large industrial center of Boston Harbor from the early 20th Century continues to thrive with more development of lofts, apartments, condos, restaurants, stores and businesses. Points of interest are the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston Children's Museum, Seaport World Trade Center and Seaport Hotel Boston and Boston Harborwalk. Boston Seaport District, which also is referred to as the South Boston Waterfront, has more than 50 restaurants.
