Boston Harbor

Home to one of the northeast's largest industrial hubs, Boston Harbor is also historically significant for being the site of the infamous Boston Tea Party. The Massachusetts Bay estuary was discovered in 1614 by John Smith and contains numerous islands and lighthouses. Notable landmarks are Boston Light, Long Island Head Light, Fort Independence, Fort Warren, Peddocks Island and Constitution Marina.
