Boston Financial District

The Boston Financial District is located in the city's downtown area and contains many financial institutions, company headquarters and other businesses. Notable skyscrapers are Marriot's Custom House Tower, One International Place, Exchange Place, John Hancock Tower and Prudential Place. Historic areas include Post Office Square and Black Stone Block. Union Oyster House, which opened in 1826, claims to be Boston's oldest restaurant and frequented by the Kennedys. A booth was dedicated to President John F. Kennedy in the spot he liked to dine.
