Day 1 Las Vegas Welcome to Las Vegas! Please meet tour guide at Tropicana Hotel Front Entrance at 3:00 p.m. Las Vegas is a constantly changing and a vibrant city, with some of the most luxurious casinos like Mirage, Treasure Island Hotel, MGM, Bellagio, and Venetian. Take an optional city tour of Las Vegas and explore the "entertainment capital of the world" or attend the one-of-a-kind shows that are exclusively featured only in Las Vegas.We recommend that you arrive in Las Vegas around noon time in order to meet with your tour group for the start of your tour. 3:00PM Meet your tour guide at the Tropicana Hotel Front Entrance OR 4:30PM Meet your tour guide at the Hallway next to the Buffet Restaurant of Stratosphere (2000 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas, NV 89104) Hotel for hotel check-in (Call us the day before tour departure for the tour guide's telephone number and hotel information). If you are not able to meet the tour guide by the 4:30PM hotel check-in, please wait until 10:30 - 11:30PM to meet with the tour guide for the late night check-in.
Day 2 Las Vegas - Grand Canyon West Rim (Skywalk) - Hoover Dam - Las Vegas In the morning, travel to Grand Canyon, the stunning gorge that gives an account of the earth's evolution dating back nearly 2 billion years ago. Stand in awe of the canyon's beauty and leave with an experience that you will never forget. Stroll on the "Skywalk" (optional), a huge walkway built on the very edge of the Grand Canyon West Rim suspended 4000 feet over the Colorado River, the driving force behind sculpting this masterpiece of nature. Other optional tours include a helicopter ride and a boat ride to enjoy the Canyon's beauty from different angles. Before returning to Las Vegas, stop at the Hoover Dam and marvel at its state-of-the-art awesome construction.
Day 3 Las Vegas - Ethel M Chocolate Factory - Botanical Cactus Gardens - Los Angeles Take a jaunt of the Ethel M's Chocolate Factory and Botanical Cactus Gardens before departing Las Vegas. Stop in Barstow for a short break and shop at Tanger Outlet Center before continuing on towards Los Angeles. The group will stay overnight in Los Angeles.
Day 4 Los Angeles - Solvang - Hearst Castle - San Francisco Bay Area Your tour begins with a drive along The Pacific Coast Highway towards Solvang from the City of Angels. Enjoy the scenery all the way before arriving at Solvang, the "Danish Capital of America". You will be pleasantly surprised to see the charming streets of this European styled village. One instantly gets a feel of Denmark at Solvang due to its authentic town Danish structures, windmills and shopkeepers dressed in traditional costumes. After a memorable visit to Solvang, we will travel to the magnificent Hearst Castle, one of the few castles in United States with exquisite structure and magnificent pools, housing a priceless collection of art and antique pieces. We will spend the night in Bay Area.
Day 5 San Francisco - Stanford University In the morning, visit San Francisco, the city by the bay! You will cross the Bay Bridge to the enchanting San Francisco and explore the magnitude of Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman Wharf, Lombard Street, Palace of Fine Arts and more. You will be enlightened by the fresh sea breeze and the beautiful ocean. After visiting all the major sights in the morning, the tour guide will arrange a few hours of free time for passengers to enjoy in the afternoon. Passengers are welcome to take the optional In-depth San Francisco Sight Seeing Tour or enjoy other sights or activities during this free time in the afternoon. Details will be provided to passengers on tour by the tour guide. Afterwards, proceeed to Stanford University which is recognized as one of the world's leading research and teaching institutions. The quiet campus is the home to a rich collection of historical and contemporary buildings as well as various plants and works of art. It welcomes 150,000 visitors annually! After about 1 hour visit in the Campus we'll head back to the hotel.
Day 6 Yosemite National Park - Los Angeles Sit back and enjoy the journey as you head north to Yosemite through miles of scenic vineyards, orchards, and fertile farmlands. Arrive at Yosemite National Park to view the El Capitan, a magnificent and gigantic granite monolith which one of the most popular attractions in the park. Surround yourself in the natural beauty of Yosemite as you experience the beautiful lakes, giant pine trees, captivating waterfalls and massive rock cliffs. An afternoon departure from Yosemite will bring you back to Los Angeles around 6:30 p.m. in the evening.
Regarding your safety, we reserve the right to change the Yosemite itinerary to 17 Miles due to the weather and road condition in Winter time.
Day 7 Disneyland / Sea World
You may choose either one:Disneyland (departure on Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday) Disneyland, created by the late Walt Disney, the king of animated films, was merely a small orchard overgrown with orange and walnut trees in 1954. Disneyland has been called the"Happiest Place on Earth,"especially since new performances-such as "Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams," "Toy Story 2,""Tarzan,"and so forth--have been launched successively in recent years. There are eight major theme areas. Adventure land features primeval forests and swamps; the "Indiana Jones Adventure" train is a favorite with visitors; in Mickey's Toontown you can chat with Mickey and Minnie Sea World (departure on Wednesday or Saturday) San Diego's Sea World is a world-famous marine-life theme park which covers a 135-acre area. It is located in Southern California very near the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy performances by a variety of dolphins, walruses and sea lions. Visitors have the chance to touch star fish, sea urchins and other loveable creatures of the ocean. Your sense of well-being will flourish here as you take in the aroma of the park's exotic flowers and plants, gaze at the blue sky and azure waters and feel the caress of a gentle breeze on your cheek. Try out the new Shipwreck Rapids, which is the park's first adventure ride.
Day 8 Universal Studios - LAX
Universal Studios is located in Hollywood, capital of the American film industry and occupies an entire hill which covers 525 acres, 485 of which are in actual use. It comprises 48 film studios, of which 32 are devoted to shooting films. Universal Studio City is the biggest film and TV producer in the world. The tours it provides take visitors through thrilling cinematic spectacles, such as bridge-crushing snow avalanches, exploding mountain torrents, giant white sharks, a roaring effigy of King Kong, and so forth. Virtual reality mock-ups from the films "Back to the Future,""Jurassic Park,"and "Aliens"are excruciatingly life-like. Simply awe-inspiring are the nerve-shattering special effects in "Water World" and "Wild West,"and in the stereoscopic films "Terminator 2 3D"and "4D."The fun is accentuated by song-and-dance performances and animal shows as well as humorous children's programs.Your fun tour will end with a complimentary transfer-out to the Los Angeles airport. If you wish you to fly out of LAX airport on the same day, please arrange for a US domestic flight after 9:30pm, and an international flight after 10:30pm.
