8-Day 2010 New Year's Countdown Special at Times Square w/Airport Transfers

Day 1 HOMETOWN - BIG APPLE CITY NEW YORK (12/25/2009)
Depart your hometown for New York City between 9:00am and 10:00pm; meet your escort at the Baggage Claim Area and transfer to your hotel.
Whomever arrives at the Greeting area of JFK, LGA & EWR before 3:00pm, will get a complimentary half day New York City tour, which includes Manhattan Christmas window displays, China Town & Little Italy.
Airport pick- up available for: EWR, JFK, or LGA airports.
Optional NYC night tour: $25.00 per person, only available for passengers who arrive in New York before 5:00pm. Please notify your tour escort if you would like to participat.

Day 2 NEW YORK CITY TOUR (12/26/2009)
We'll head out for the day to visit well-known New York City sights such as: Ground Zero, Wall Street, Chinatown, Intrepid Museum, the United Nations, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, 5th Avenue, the Empire State Building and also visit the Statue of Liberty on the optional Circle Line Liberty Cruise.
The Empire State building is currently the tallest building in New York. Known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, it's known as one of America's Favorite Architectural buildings. Don't miss out on the view at the top of the Empire State Building.
Check out the Statue of Liberty on the Circle Line Liberty Cruise. You will be able to view the beauty of this landmark given to the United States from the generous people of France. The Statue of Liberty is the country's symbol of freedom that the United States of America is known for.

Day 3 PHILADELPHIA - WASHINGTON D.C. - FREE NIGHT TOUR (12/27/2009)
Depart from NYC in the morning to walk along the historical cobblestone streets along Independence Mall State Park. See the Liberty Bell in its newly renovated home at the Liberty Bell Center and stroll through the centuries old Independence Hall and Congress Hall, birthplace of both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. From Philadelphia, we continue to explore America's proud past by sightseeing at America's seat of governing power -the Capitol Hill and the White House. These two magnificent buildings are home to the Senate and the House of Representatives as well as the President of the United States. The tour then proceeds to the National Air and Space Museum, featuring the original 1903 Flyer plane designed by the Wright brothers, the Spirit of St. Louis flown by Lindbergh, and actual spacecraft such as the Apollo 11 command module.
We then head to the Lincoln, and Jefferson Memorials, where we can honor these notable past presidents. All of these memorials are lined with stunning decorations and the stirring words of these great American heroes. We will then pay tribute to our modern heroes in the armed forces by touring the Vietnam and Korean War Veterans Memorial. The Vietnam Memorial, designed by Maya Lin, is a simple yet touching site containing a monument inscribed with the names of lost and fallen soldiers. The Korean War Veterans Memorial is equally inspiring, capturing the tension and uncertainty of war on faces of the fighting forces.

Day 4 WASHINGTON D.C. - HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE WORLD - NIAGARA FALLS - FREE NIGHT TOUR (12/28/2009)
Leave Washington D.C. and enter Hershey, Pennsylvania where the chocolaty attraction showcases some of your favorite treats. Enjoy Hershey's Great American Chocolate Tour and learn where the necessary ingredients come from in order to make these delicious delights. Don't forget your little piece of joy at the end of the tour!
Let's head up north to the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, New York. View how glass can be moulded, blown, colored, and even cut to create masterpieces. You will be impressed with the difficult techniques of what each glass blower is capable of. Purchase your favorite pieces at the Glass Market.
In the evening, you will arrive at Niagara Falls and can enjoy the night view of the illuminated American Niagara Falls.

Day 5 NIAGARA FALLS - 9/11 Memorial & Museum - BOSTON (12/29/2009)
Head out early in the morning to go view the falls on the U.S. side. We'll be able to see the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and part of the Horseshoe Falls separating the American and Canadian side of the falls. Leaving Niagara Falls, we will visit the 9-11 Memorial & Museum to remember and honor the thousands of innocent men, women and children murdered by terrorists in the horrific attacks of September 11, 2001.
Then, we'll head to Boston in the evening, where we will have an opportunity to partake in Boston's most famous export - the lobster - during dinner.

Day 6 BOSTON - YALE UNIVERSITY - NEW YORK CITY (12/30/2009)
You will have the chance to tour Boston in the morning and visit Harvard University, Yale University and the State Capital House. Board the Boston Harbor Cruise, enjoy the views and listen to the history of the city and the old battleship USS Constitution". Afterward, enjoy your lunch at Quincy Market. Then we will head back to New York City and be transferred to your hotel after dinner.

Day 7 NEW YORK (COUNTDOWN AT TIME SQUARE ) (12/31/2009)
In the morning take a tour of Northern New York City, Uptown Manhattan, Columbia University and tour inside the Metropolitan Museum. You'll get a chance to leisurely enjoy your lunch and get yourself enough rest for the long night at Times Square. Walk to Radio City Music Hall and experience the most spectacular New Year's Eve countdown in world right in New York City's Times Square. Your tour guide will arrange for a transfer back to the hotel after the kick off to the celebrations.

Day 8 NEW YEAR SHOPPING - HOMETOWN (01/01/2010)

Enjoy a free day for New Year shopping.
Transfers to the airports (EWR, JFK, and LGA) will be arranged. Suggested departure flight time is after 2:00pm.

  • Please meet tour guide at Baggage Claim Area after your arrival at New York airport on the first day.
  • Should weather or other unforeseen circumstances cause a flight delay for more than 45 minutes, you will have to arrange for your own transportation to your hotel. However, you are welcome to contact your local tour provider to see if there is any available staff to accommodate your needs.
  • Please arrange for your flight to leave after 2:00pm on the last day in order to complete your tour activities.
  • Spring/Summer: wear lightweight clothing and comfortable shoes.
    Fall/Winter: wear layered clothing in the winter to ensure comfort in the cold weather.
