Day 1 Transfer in to Hotel Your fun tour begins when you arrive at the Los Angeles LAX airport. You will be greeted by a friendly tour escort at the Baggage Claim Area (Guests who take domestic flights) or at Exit Area (Guests who take international flights). He or she will transfer you to hotel and facilitate you with check-in if needed. Note: We offer one complimentary airport transfer from LAX to your hotel for each room that is booked on a reservation. We offer complimentary transfers for: * Domestic US arrival transfers between 8:30am-10:30pm. * International arrival transfers between 8:30am - 9:30pm. **If your flight should become delayed or changed for any reason, we will not be held responsible for your airport transfers. If you should arrive after the complimentary airport transfer times indicated, you may also be subject to a late arrival transfer fee or be required to self transfer to the hotel. If you are delayed and arrive after our normal office hours, please contact the emergency number listed on your e-ticket for assistance.** Please e-mail or call us for a price quote for customers that: * Arrive outside of the complimentary airport transfer time frames. * Have flight delays, requiring last minute additional late night/delayed airport transfers. * Request more than one airport transfer per room. We strongly recommend that you book your flight arrivals within the time frames which are noted and departure flight times after the times indicated.
Day 2 Los Angeles - Factory Outlet - Las Vegas We will start our journey early in the morning by boarding a luxury bus. The bus will enter Mojave Desert, the largest in North America. Here we will encounter unusual scenery of stunted, austere Joshua trees dotting a barren landscape stretching till the horizon. There is a brief stop at Barstow for lunch, a brief rest and some shopping at Tanger Outlet Center, and then we will head to Las Vegas - The Pearl in the Desert. Spend the night in the entertainment capital of the nation, with most lavish casinos Mirage, Treasure Island Hotel, MGM, Bellagio, Venetian, and the Aladdin. No other city has such a vibrant nightlife that constantly beckons you to try your luck.
Day 3 Las Vegas - Grand Canyon West Rim - Hoover Dam - Las Vegas In the morning, we'll start out with a visit of the Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Peer out and into the rim and view this masterpiece that took mother nature 2 billion years to make. Stand in awe at the canyon's beauty and leave with an experience you will never forget. Walk on the Skywalk(optional), a huge walkway built on the very edge of the Grand Canyon West Rim suspended 4000 feet over the Colorado River. Other optional tours include a helicopter or boat ride to see the Canyon's beauty from unique perspectives. Before ending the day, stop at the Hoover Dam and marvel at its awesome construction.
Day 4 Las Vegas - Ethel M Chocolate Factory - Fashion Outlet Shopping Center - Los Angeles
Take a jaunt of the Ethel M's Chocolate Factory and Botanical Cactus Gardens before departing Las Vegas. Stop in Barstow for a short break and shop at Tanger Outlet Center before continuing on towards Los Angeles. The group will stay overnight in Los Angeles.
Day 5 Los Angeles - Solvang - Hearst Castle - San Francisco
Say goodbye to the City of Angels and head up north on the Pacific Coast Highway towards Solvang. Solvang means "sunny field". It is an idyllic Danish village full of beautiful and fascinating sights. You will be surprised to see the charming streets of the European styled village and their western influenced towns. Enjoy Little Denmark and their good luck charm, the stork, located on the various buildings' rooftops. Visit their shops for Danish collectibles. You won't have to go to Denmark to purchase these great gifts for friends. Before you leave, don't forget to pick up some delicious cookies at the authentic Solvang bakeries. Bid farewell to this unique village and continue up north to the magnificent Hearst Castle.
Day 6 San Francisco - Stanford University
In the morning, visit San Francisco, the city by the bay! You will cross the Bay Bridge to the enchanting San Francisco and explore the magnitude of Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman Wharf, Lombard Street, Palace of Fine Arts and more. You will be enlightened by the fresh sea breeze and the beautiful ocean. After visiting all the major sights in the morning, the tour guide will arrange a few hours of free time for passengers to enjoy in the afternoon. Passengers are welcome to take the optional In-depth San Francisco Sight Seeing Tour or enjoy other sights or activities during this free time in the afternoon. Details will be provided to passengers on tour by the tour guide. Afterwards, proceeed to Stanford University which is recognized as one of the world's leading research and teaching institutions. The quiet campus is the home to a rich collection of historical and contemporary buildings as well as various plants and works of art. It welcomes 150,000 visitors annually! After about 1 hour visit in the Campus we'll head back to the hotel.
Day 7 Yosemite - Los Angeles
Get ready for one of the nation's most highly protected wilderness area: Yosemite National Park. Yosemite has a large variety of animals and plants that are native to the Sierra Nevada Mountains, with over 160 rare plants. Due the high level of protection and the diversity of species of animals, most of the habitats have been kept intact. Point out the plants and animals you can recognize and take pictures of those you can't. When you get home, make sure to find out what caught your eye on this trip. Head back to Los Angeles for an overnight stay.
Day 8 Disneyland Park or California Adventure Park Tour
Make your visit to California complete by coming to "The Happiest Place on Earth" Disneyland Park or Disney's California Adventure Park. Once you walk into the Disneyland Resort entrance, choose which park you wish to spend your day at. On one side, you will have Disneyland Park and on the other, Disney's California Adventure. Whether you choose right or left, your dreams will come true.
If you wish you to fly out of the LAX airport on the same day, please arrange your US domestic flight to depart after 9:30pm, or your international flight to depart after 10:30pm. We offer following hotel extension services. If you'd like to book a room, please contact us for quotation or choose the hotel in "Easy Book" when booking. If the itinerary on the last day is heading to Los Angeles from Las Vegas, then if you wish to end your tour in Las Vegas, please leave us a comment under the comments section when completing your reservation. However, if you do choose to depart from Las Vegas, you'll forego the tour to the Chocolate Factory, Botanical Cactus Gardens and the Tanger Outlet Center. For guest departing from Las Vegas, please depart from your room by 11:30am. Check-out is not necessary; the tour guide will make arrangement for you before departing the hotel. We recommend bus or taxi service for guest flying out of McCarran International Airport. Taxi can be arranged for $25-$30 and takes about 20 minutes. Bus Transportation costs $3.00 and takes about 1 hour-1 and a half hour. |
Special Notes
- Please meet our tour guide at Baggage Claim Area after your arrival at Los Angeles LAX airport on the first day.
- Should weather or other unforeseen circumstances cause a flight delay for more than 45 minutes, you will have to arrange transportation on your own. However, you are welcome to contact local tour provider to see if there is available staff to accommodate your needs.
- We strongly recommend that you contact the airline and local tour provider to confirm your flight arrival information and pickup arrangement before your departure.
- If you wish you to fly out of the LAX airport on the same day, please arrange your US domestic flight to depart after 9:30pm, or your international flight to depart after 10:30pm. If you should require an extra hotel night's stay, we can assist with arranging a hotel extension nearby the LAX airport. You may utilize our free hotel shuttle service to self-transfer to the LAX airport on the following morning. Please make a note by adding your request in the comment section of the check-out page.
- In Spring/Summer, we recommend you to wear lightweight clothing and comfortable shoes.
In Fall/Winter, we recommend layered clothing to ensure comfort in cold weather. - Information on staying in San Francisco: Instead of returning to Los Angeles and attending the Yosemite tour on the last day, clients may opt out of the Yosemite tour and end their tour in San Francisco if they chose to do so.
- Information on traveling to downtown San Francisco via Public Transportation: All hotels used on the tour are near the Fremont / Union City region. Clients may ask the hotel for a taxi service to the nearest Bart / train station (around $15). Clients may then use the Bart / train system's transfer services to arrive at downtown San Francisco.
- Information on traveling to downtown San Francisco via direct Taxi service: Transportation from the Fremont / Union city region to downtown San Francisco take about 40 minutes - 1 hour. Taxi fares may vary.
- Flight information must be provided in order for the airport transfer services to be arranged. At our discretion, if flight information is not provided or provided last minute, your reservation will be noted as a self transfer and no airport transfer services will be arranged. If you decide to self transfer to the tour's first night's hotel, please inform us at your earliest convenience. If you opt out of a transfer service, you may reinstate the airport transfer service if notification to reinstate the service is given well in advance of the tour's departure. Urgent requests to reinstate airport transfer services will not be guaranteed. If a flight is delayed, Tours4fun/ local provider will attempt to arrange a later airport transfer service, however; this later service is not guaranteed. If an airport transfer service is not available and cannot be provided, all guests are responsible for self transferring to the tour's first night's hotel.
- For customers who will self transfer to hotel on day, according to the hotel's policy, the guests need to arrange their check-in after 3:00pm (local time);if the guests arrive at the hotel before 3:00pm (local time), they will have to wait until 3:00pm(local time) to check-in. Please understand.
