Begin your dream tour of California as you meet your fellow travelers and tour guide at our hotel. From here we'll take a tour of Hollywood to discover LA's favorite hot spots. See the who's who of the celebrity world as you let your feet wander over some of your favorite actors and musicians on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Your next stop will take you to one of the wealthiest parts of LA, Beverley Hills. After driving through here we'll sate your craving for some beach time by heading to Venice Beach. Soak up some rays or take in the cool vibes with a wander along the boardwalk where musicians, hair braiders and roller bladers all hang out under the Californian sun. The beach vibes don't stop there as you cruise to Santa Monica and take in the bright lights of the famous Santa Monica Pier. There's no denying that LA is full on, but totally awesome!

Day 02
Santa Barbara

Head up the coast today to catch some laid back vibes as you head north to the chilled out coastal town, Santa Barbara. Discover why its is known as the American Riviera with its world class beaches and majestic mountains.

If you want in on some of the local action, opt for some paddle boarding and see Santa Barbara from the water. As you wander down the vibrant streets packed with awesome shops, make sure you take in the colorful Spanish culture and then find yourself a nice spot under a palm tree aaand... relax!

Experience more of the sparkling Californian coast line as you drive along the iconic Highway 1, aka the Pacific Coast Highway. With the tunes blasting from the stereo and the long winding road ahead of you, today is going to be a good day!

Enjoy the Californian sunshine on your face as you hit some of the coastal trails on your way north. Along the way you'll stop at the awesome and oh so beautiful McWay Falls, hands down one of the sweetest spots you've ever seen. Picture an 80 ft. waterfall crashing down onto it's very own beach, with the bluest ocean and towering cliffs as far as the eye can see. Also on the cards today is the Pfeiffer Falls and Valley View Trails, utter perfection!

We'll camp along the gorgeous California coast this evening.

Day 04
Yosemite National Park

Big Sur - Yosemite National Park

Today, cut through the center of California to discover the beloved Yosemite National Park. Our first stop is at the magnificent Sequoia Grove where Sequoia trees emerge from the ground like giants, then we will head further into the park to our campsite.

Yes, that's right you'll be spending two nights in the heart of this stunning national park. Spend the evening eating s'mores around a roaring campfire or grab a beer in peaceful, Yosemite Valley.

Wake up bright and early to make the most of a beautiful day exploring the valley on foot or by bike. If you want more of an adventure, there are tons of incredible hikes to get stuck into. One of the most popular trails, jam-packed with natural beauty, is the hike to Vernal and Nevada Falls. Not only will you see epic waterfalls but you might even bump into some incredible wildlife, such as coyotes and bears.

Head back to the coast to one of the most famous West Coast cities: San Francisco. You've seen it on postcards, you've witnessed it on the big screen, now it's time to go and explore this iconic city for yourself!

Ease yourself into city life with a wander around Haight Ashbury, an area of San Francisco where you'll need to embrace your inner hippy as you hit the shops and quirky cafes. Next up is that big ole' bridge that you've come to know and love. Walk, bike, run or skip across it, just make sure you step foot on the Golden Gate Bridge.

San Francisco

This is your last day as a group and boy is it a good'en! First up is an included visit to Alcatraz Prison, where some of the world's biggest and baddest criminals were kept. Now it makes for an awesome couple of hours as you enjoy a great audio tour, where you'll walk around the empty cells and hear all about crazy escape stories.

With some free time to explore the city at your leisure you'll then meet back up with your group for the big Trek finale, a sunset sail boat cruise through San Francisco Bay and under the Golden Gate Bridge. What an ending to and incredible seven days?

  • Age limitation: only guests aged 18-38 can attend this tour.
  • Travel Insurance
    It is a condition of joining this tour that you must be insured against medical and personal accident risks (including repatriation costs, air ambulance, and helicopter rescue service). We can offer an insurance policy that is designed specifically to cover the potential risks on this tour - particularly the any optional adventurous activities you plan to take part in, and covers those residing in the EU.     You must show a copy of your travel insurance policy to the guide to join the tour and if you do not have any you will not be able to join the tour and there will be NO REFUNDS.
  • Health Requirements
    If you have any medical condition such as diabetes, epilepsy, asthma, take prescribed medicines, or have a condition that will affect your participation in the trek, you must tell us or your travel agent at the time of booking. Please be aware we may require a doctor’s note prior to travel for some conditions. This information is essential in case of emergency. All our vehicles carry a basic first-aid kit, but for everyday use you should bring your own medical supplies, such as, pain relievers, antibiotic cream, upset stomach relievers, in addition to sunscreen and insect repellent.

  • Luggage
    One suitcase, soft holdall or rucksack (23kg maximum) per person, plus a sleeping bag. A small daypack and camera can also be carried in the van. Before you travel, please check the baggage allowance with the airline you’re flying with as this may be less than 23kg.
    If your luggage exceeds the maximum weight, we will not be able to bring it on the tour.
  • Max group size is 14, normally the size will be 11.
  • Wi-Fi on the road
    In order for us to provide this service, we operate a fair usage policy to ensure everyone has equal access to Wi-Fi. The in van Wi-Fi is subject to a set data quota, sufficient for normal usage. This means that you are not permitted to steam films / music or to upload / download large files. If you do so, this will deplete the entire group’s data allowance. For this reason, if you reach your data limit your tour leader may need to turn off the Wi-Fi to ensure you do not run out of data in the latter stages of your trip. Please note: In some remote areas you may not be able to pick up the Wi-Fi in the van, and only five people can be connected to the Wi-Fi at one time.
  • Food Kitty & Meals
    We operate a Food Kitty system on all camping tours. Your tour leader will collect the Food Kitty payment of US$10 per day in cash. Food Kitty money will cover most meals when camping. We will provide all cooking equipment and everyone will take turns in buying, preparing and cooking the food.
  • Battery Charging
    Our vehicles have 2 standard 12volt chargers. You will need a 12volt/cigarette lighter adapter to plug your USB charger into. Every vehicle has at least 2 outlets for you to use. If your tour features some nights in hotels along the way your hotel room will have an electrical outlet (don’t forget your travel plug.
  • Flexible Itinerary
    Our routes have been carefully chosen to include the best overnight stops, highlights and included experiences, with plenty of optional activities to choose from. No two Trek trips are the same, with stops at some of your tour leader's favorite places and occasional changes to the itinerary, so get ready for one awesome adventure!

Reservation Info

    1.Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a Receipt of Reservation via email.
    2. Within one to two business days of submitting your reservation you will receive a confirmation email from us. If you need to book an airline ticket, we recommend that you do so after you receive a confirmation of your tour reservation from us.
    3. An E-Ticket will be sent to you via email as soon as details of your reservation are confirmed or your supporting information is received by us. We will provide you with all detailed information about your tour on the E-Ticket. Contact information for local tour provider will be included on E-Ticket for your convenience or re-confirmation purpose if re-confirmation is required.
    4. Simply print your E-Ticket and present it with your valid photo ID on the day of your activity to your tour guide. Please remember E-Ticket is your proof of purchase.
