Day 1 Hometown - New York
The tour arrives in New York City, the most populous city in the United States and the largest city since 1790. Our tour guide will meet you directly at the airport (JFK / LGA / EWR) to transfer you aboard our scheduled group shuttles to the hotel (check-in after 3PM). (Airport pick-up is free only between 9:00am-10:00pm)*For customers who arrive earlier and want to meet the tour at the airport, please refer to the following meet points: JFK - Terminal # 7 "Hudson News" newsstand EWR - Terminal C Continental Airlines LGA - Terminal B United Airlines Pick-up service from JFK, LGA and EWR airports. For the best service, please choose EWR (Newark Liberty International Airport). If you arrive in New York early on the first day of this tour, you can enjoy complimentary free time (without tour escort) in Chinatown. After your free time, you can meet your tour guide in Chinatown, 87 Bowery, New York, NY 10002 at 05:00pm. You can also confirm the meeting time and location with your tour guide before you enjoy your free time. Please notify us when you make reservation if you want to enjoy the Chinatown Free Time. Meanwhile, please arrange your flight to New York before 3:00pm. Our local agency will offer you complimentary luggage service.
Day 2 New York - Philadelphia - Washington D.C. Well depart from NYC in the morning to walk along the historical cobblestone streets of Philadelphias Independence Mall State Park, where well see the Liberty Bell in its newly renovated home at the Liberty Bell Center, as well as Independence Hall and Congress Hall, birthplace of both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Moving on to Washington D.C., well visit Capitol Hill and the White House, home to the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives as well as the President of the United States; the National Air and Space Museum, which houses the largest of historic air and spacecraft in the world, and the stately white marble Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials which honor these notable past presidents. Next well pay tribute to more modern heroes at the Vietnam and Korean War Veterans Memorials, both simple and moving monuments to men who sacrificed their lives for their country.
Day 3 Washington D.C. - Hershey's Chocolate Center - Corning Glass Center - Niagara Falls (Night Tour) Hershey's Chocolate World, with its marketplace, shops and restaurants sweetly beckons our tour this morning. Once here you can take the chocolate tour, offering views of the chocolate making process, view a spectacular 3-D Show,*and/or participate in special chocolate tastings. Later, continuing on our way north, well make a special stop at the Corning Glass Center*, a showcase and museum for the art and science of glassmaking. Here you will witness first-hand how craftsman and artisans work superheated glass into beautiful decorative pieces; at the conclusion of our visit, you will have the opportunity to purchase these unique items for yourself or a loved one in the Centers wonderful gift shop. Afterwards, the tour will head to Niagara Falls to enjoy its beautiful night views. In whats now a 140-year-old tradition, every evening the Falls are illuminated in changing colors of the rainbow.
Day 4 Niagara Falls - Boston Today well truly experience Niagara Falls in its full fury and majestyas the most powerful waterfall in North America, an average of 4 million cubic feet of water falls over the crest every minute. First, at the IMAX Niagara Falls* The Falls Movie: Legends and Daredevils, well see and hear the unforgettable stories of the courageous few who have dared the waters of the powerful Falls. Next, well take a thrilling boat ride aboard the world-famous Maid of the Mist* which offers up close and exciting views of the Falls (seasonal). The tour then proceeds to in Boston in the evening, where we will have the opportunity to visit downtown Boston and Quincy Market. Situated between Boston's Financial District, the Waterfront, North End, Government Center and Haymarket, the vibrant Quincy Market is one of America's oldest gathering places. You will also have a chance to sample some delicious lobster*, a Boston favorite, during dinner.
Day 5 Boston - New York We continue our tour of Boston in the morning by visiting the pristine campuses of Harvard and MIT, both world-class educational institutions. We will also visit prominent sites in Boston such as the State House, built between 1795 and 1797 on Beacon Hill overlooking the Boston Common, and recently featured in the major Hollywood film "The Departed". There will also be an opportunity for a harbor cruise, where you can view Boston's magnificent skyline and Charles River. After lunch visit famous Yale University (Only for May - Oct). In the afternoon head to New York and have a rest in the hotel. Welcome to join our optional night tour ($25/adult, minimum 10 pax) to experience "the City that Never Sleeps" starting at 7 PM!
Day 6 New York City (Full Day) Today's full day tour of New York City will begin at Ground Zero, site of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and then move on to nearby Wall Street and the heart of citys the financial district as well as Chinatown, the largest Asian community in the United States. Next, on a waterway cruise* around New York City harbor, well view the citys magnificent skyline and sights including the busy South Street Seaport, the Statue of Liberty, and the Brooklyn Bridge. We will visit Rockefeller Center, home to NBC Studios, and the surrounding shopping district along Fifth Avenue, mecca of the fashion industry and luxury brand retail stores. And no tour of New York City would complete without a trip to the top of the Empire State Building*, where on the 86th floor, 1,050 feet above the city's bustling streets, the observatory offers panoramic views from within a glass enclosed pavilion. Additional visits will include the newly transformed USS Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum*, the glorious Metropolitan Museum of Art*, which contains many of the most famous works of art in the world, and finally, the United Nations, a gathering place for 192 countries to meet and discuss important issues of the world.
