Day 1 TRANSFER IN TO HOTEL Your fun tour begins upon your arrival at the Los Angeles LAX airport. You will be greeted by your tour guide at the Baggage Claim Area (Guests who take domestic flights) or at Exit Area (Guests who take international flights) who will then transfer you to your hotel and facilitate your check-in if needed. Note: We offer one complimentary airport transfer from LAX to your hotel for each room that is booked on a reservation. We offer complimentary transfers for: * Domestic US arrival transfers between 8:30am-10:30pm. * International arrival transfers between 8:30am - 9:30pm. **If your flight should become delayed or changed for any reason, we will not be held responsible for your airport transfers. If you should arrive after the complimentary airport transfer times indicated, you may also be subject to a late arrival transfer fee or be required to self transfer to the hotel. If you are delayed and arrive after our normal office hours, please contact the emergency number listed on your e-ticket for assistance.** Please e-mail or call us for a price quote for customers that: * Arrive outside of the complimentary airport transfer time frames. * Have flight delays, requiring last minute additional late night/delayed airport transfers. * Request more than one airport transfer per room. We strongly recommend that you book your flight arrivals within the time frames which are noted and departure flight times after the times indicated.
Day 2 SEA WORLD, CA San Diego's Sea World is a world-famous marine-life theme park which covers a 135-acre area. It is located in Southern California very near the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy performances by a variety of dolphins, walruses and sea lions. Visitors have the chance to touch star fish, sea urchins and other loveable creatures of the ocean. Your sense of well-being will flourish here as you take in the aroma of the park's exotic flowers and plants, gaze at the blue sky and azure waters and feel the caress of a gentle breeze on your cheek. Try out the new Shipwreck Rapids, which is the park's first adventure ride. After the end of the day's tour, there will be time for you to do some sightseeing in the beautiful city of San Diego. Stroll through the Old City and take in its rich Spanish and Mexican ambience. When you visit Coronado Island you will have the chance to see of the largest Naval Bases in the U.S. Make sure to visit the Hotel Coronado, the world's biggest man-made edifice made purely out of wood. Your fun day ends as you travel back to Los Angeles in the evening.
Day 3 LOS ANGELES - SOLVANG - HEARST CASTLE Leave Monterey Park in the morning and take the scenic route along The Pacific Coast Highway until you reach Solvang, a town which is more Danish in character than Denmark itself. Continue north to San Simeon for a visit to Hearst Castle, the only castle to be found on American soil. You will marvel at the priceless collections of art and antique pieces and the gilt-edged swimming pools. Stay overnight in San Francisco.
Day 4 SAN FRANCISCO - STANFORD UNIVERSITY In the morning, visit San Francisco, the city by the bay! You will cross the Bay Bridge to the enchanting San Francisco and explore the magnitude of Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman Wharf, Lombard Street, Palace of Fine Arts and more. You will be enlightened by the fresh sea breeze and the beautiful ocean. After visiting all the major sights in the morning, the tour guide will arrange a few hours of free time for passengers to enjoy in the afternoon. Passengers are welcome to take the optional In-depth San Francisco Sight Seeing Tour or enjoy other sights or activities during this free time in the afternoon. Details will be provided to passengers on tour by the tour guide. Afterwards, proceeed to Stanford University which is recognized as one of the world's leading research and teaching institutions. The quiet campus is the home to a rich collection of historical and contemporary buildings as well as various plants and works of art. It welcomes 150,000 visitors annually! After about 1 hour visit in the Campus we'll head back to the hotel.
Regarding your safety, we reserve the right to change the Yosemite itinerary to 17 Miles due to the weather and road condition in Winter time.
Day 5 YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK - LOS ANGELES In the morning, you will visit California's best-known Yosemite National Park, one of the wonders of Nature. Yosemite is located near the geographical center of the Nevada mountain range. Towering granite rocks, mighty waterfalls and placid valleys give Yosemite all the aspects of a "land of the gods" Giant trees, water gushing from the mountains, huge rocks and cliffs carved to create a land of fantasy. There is little doubt that water "in both its liquid and solid form" was the chief architect of Yosemite's landscapes. Proceed to Los Angeles in the afternoon.
IIf you wish you to fly out of LAX airport on the same day, please arrange a US domestic flight after 9:30pm and an international flight after 10:30pm. We offer following hotel extension services. Special Notes
- Please meet our tour guide at Baggage Claim Area after your arrival at Los Angeles LAX airport on the first day.
- Should weather or other unforeseen circumstances cause a flight delay for more than 45 minutes, you will have to arrange transportation on your own. However, you are welcome to contact local tour provider to see if there is available staff to accommodate your needs.
- We strongly recommend that you should contact airline and local tour provider to confirm your flight arrival information and pickup arrangement before your departure.
- If you wish you to fly out of LAX airport on the same day, please arrange a US domestic flight after 9:30pm and an international flight after 10:30pm. We can help you book room at a hotel by LAX. You may use the free hotel shuttle service to reach LAX on the following morning. Please add a note on the comment page upon check-out if you plan to use this service.
- In Spring/Summer, we recommend you to wear lightweight clothing and comfortable shoes.
In Fall/Winter, we recommend layered clothing to ensure comfort in cold weather. - Information on staying in San Francisco: Instead of returning to Los Angeles and attending the Yosemite tour on the last day, clients may opt out of the Yosemite tour and end their tour in San Francisco if they chose to do so.
- Information on traveling to downtown San Francisco via Public Transportation: All hotels used on the tour are near the Fremont / Union City region. Clients may ask the hotel for a taxi service to the nearest Bart / train station (around $15). Clients may then use the Bart / train system's transfer services to arrive at downtown San Francisco.
- Information on traveling to downtown San Francisco via direct Taxi service: Transportation from the Fremont / Union city region to downtown San Francisco take about 40 minutes - 1 hour. Taxi fares may vary.
- Flight information must be provided in order for the airport transfer services to be arranged. At our discretion, if flight information is not provided or provided last minute, your reservation will be noted as a self transfer and no airport transfer services will be arranged. If you decide to self transfer to the tour's first night's hotel, please inform us at your earliest convenience. If you opt out of a transfer service, you may reinstate the airport transfer service if notification to reinstate the service is given well in advance of the tour's departure. Urgent requests to reinstate airport transfer services will not be guaranteed. If a flight is delayed, Tours4fun/ local provider will attempt to arrange a later airport transfer service, however; this later service is not guaranteed. If an airport transfer service is not available and cannot be provided, all guests are responsible for self transferring to the tour's first night's hotel.
- For customers who will self transfer to hotel on day, according to the hotel's policy, the guests need to arrange their check-in after 3:00pm (local time);if the guests arrive at the hotel before 3:00pm (local time), they will have to wait until 3:00pm(local time) to check-in. Please understand.
Reservation Process and E-Ticket
1.Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a Receipt of Reservation via email.
2. Within one to two business days of submitting your reservation you will receive a confirmation email from us. If you need to book an airline ticket, we recommend that you do so after you receive a confirmation of your tour reservation from us.
3. An E-Ticket will be sent to you via email as soon as details of your reservation is confirmed or your supporting information is received by us. We will provide you with all detailed information about your tour on the E-Ticket. Contact information for local tour provider will be included on E-Ticket for your convenience or re-confirmation purpose if re-confirmation is required.
4. Simply print your E-Ticket and present it with your valid photo ID on the day of your activity to your tour guide. Please remember E-Ticket is your proof of purchase.
