Day1 Los Angeles - Santa Barbara -Solvang - San Francisco In the morning, visit the Danish immigrant town of Solvang. The word Solvang in Danish can be translated as "sunny countryside", which in fact is true almost the entire year. While in Solvang, enjoy its famous Danish pastries, cookies, and chocolates. After lunch, head back to the Bay Area. stay overnight in San Francisco.We offer following hotel extension services. Day2 Fisherman's Wharf, Monterey Bay & 17 Miles Scenic Drive Tour Experience the beauty of the California coastline while driving through 17-Miles Scenic Drive, views of Seal Rock, the majestic Cypress Point, Pebble Beach, Fisherman's Wharf, and the small charming town of Carmel highlight this area. Browse along the streets of Carmel and enjoy some of the best specialty shops and art galleries that Carmel has to offer. Visit the famous Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Inside the aquarium learn about the great canyon that lies right inside Monterey Bay. It is one of the deepest underwater canyons found in the continental Unites States.
The 17 Mile Scenic Drive will be closed from February 6th thru 12th due to the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Golf Tournament. We will be rerouting our tour during this time to go to Pacific Grove, which has very nice & comparable beaches to the original itinerary.
Day3 San Francisco City Tour Discover America's most picturesque and culturally diverse city - San Francisco. Highlights include: Civic Center, Twin Peaks, Golden Gate Park, Golden Gate Bridge, Palace of Fine Arts, Fisherman's Wharf, Market Street and Chinatown.
Day4 San Francisco free day on your own Start your day with a ride on the cable car to Fisherman's Wharf; the carnival-esque atmosphere of Pier 39 offers a variety of shopping and dining opportunities, a Venetian Carousel and a colony of rather vocal and photogenic sea lions. On the more serene end of the Wharf (towards the Golden Gate Bridge) you can relax at the Aquatic Park, learn about maritime history at the Hyde St. Pier and then warm-up with hot chocolate or indulge in a hot fudge sundae at Ghirardelli Square.
Day5 San Francisco transfer out Transfer to San Francisco International airport (SFO). (Please arrange for your flight to depart from SFO.) Or: Bus transfer to Los Angeles. |
