Death Valley can be very hot and very dry, but it's a very scenic, interesting place to visit. Death Valley is an interesting place to visit, full of desert and mountain scenery and general solitude. The park is very big- 3.3 million acres ..in total area. But Death Valley is much more than just a desert. The mountains and the colorful landscape and wildlife add a great deal to the experience. I liked the desert and mountain scenery and I can now claim to have stood on the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere. I recommend taking a trip here, to experience the open wilderness and the abundant scenery. Don鈥檛 be scared away by the name. Death Valley is an enjoyable place to see at least once.

I never thought Death Valley has so much amazing scenery, almost unlimited backcountry to explore, stark beauty. It鈥檚 hard to convey through words the stark beauty of the Park. The scenery is simply amazing throughout the park and the ext..remes make it incredibly interesting to visit. Some people think that the Grand Canyon isn't worth visiting. Those are the people that think you're supposed to see what Arizona is like through National Monuments and National Parks. All I have to say to that is, you don't go to Waikiki Beach in Hawaii to see what the natives are like. You don't go to Niagara Falls Ontario, to see what Canadians are like. You don't go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to get an idea as to what Cleveland City folk are like. Grand Canyon is a natural beauty, in which to behold. It's one of many sights in Arizona that are worth seeing.
