Day1 New York- New Haven - Rhode Island - Boston Depart from NYC in the morning for the tree lined campus of Yale University. Stroll along the grounds of this centuries old ivy-league institution.
Then the tour continues to Newport in Rhode Island, crossing the famous Newport Bridge to visit the Breaker Mansion. At Breaker Mansion, visitors can experience the past wealth of America's Gilded Age. Built for Cornelius Vanderbilt, the 11-acre estate features entire rooms that were crafted in Europe and shipped to the building site, as well as prime examples of Renaissance art. Then we are heading to Plymouth, Many of us know at least a little it -- about how the Pilgrims left Europe on the Mayflower and landed at Plymouth Rock in December 1620. However, unless you really see it in person you could hardly believe how tiny The Mayflower (a replica) seems and how dangerous life was at the time. You will be more proud of the settlers' accomplishments. The tour arrives in Boston in the evening, where we will have the opportunity to visit downtown Boston and Quincy Market. Situated between Boston's financial district, the waterfront, North End, Government Center and Haymarket, the vibrant Quincy Market is one of Americaoldest gathering place. There will also be an opportunity to partake in Boston most famous export - the lobster - during dinner.
