The customer service representatives from Tours4fun were very friendly and helpful as always. Since it was my first time visiting New York, I had so many questions to ask them. They were patiently answered my questions one by one. It had ma..de me feel so good about Tours4fun even before I actually started my east coast tour. I?m truly thankful. Through this tour, I learned a great deal on American history. The first day of the tour, we had a small problem with the tour bus. The driver fixed the problem immediately. Before we headed back to the road, the driver even carefully double checked the entire bus to make sure the bus was in good condition. The rest of tour was safe and smooth. When the tour arrived in Philadelphia, we visited the Liberty Bell and the Independence Hall etc. One thing is worth to recommend to everyone: the wonderful meal options. In Philadelphia, the tour guide took us to a very international-orientated restaurant (run by Koreans). In the restaurant, we were able to choose from Chinese food and western food. The restaurant has a very unique way to charge its customers?by weighing the food customer ordered. So, if you decide to try this restaurant someday, you may need to ?watch out for your portion?. After visiting Philadelphia, we continued our trip to Washington D.C. When I was visiting the famous Capitol Hills and the White House, and passing by many other U.S. government buildings, I couldn?t help myself to wonder: what a smart way to arrange all the important government agencies together in the same area! It makes it easy for them to work closely and to run efficiently. It is also easier for them to be managed, too. At the well-known Lincoln Memorial and Jefferson Memorial, the tour guide gave us a very detailed introduction on both former U.S. presidents. It helped me understand even better how this country had gone through the eliminating slavery and experiencing the great industrial revolution, and finally has become a super power in this world. The weather was a disappointment though. We were not able to go on the boat tour in Washington D.C. As a make-up, our tour guide managed to take us to the Natural History Museum. Exhibits in both Aerospace Museum and the Natural History Museum are very educational . I would suggest everyone at least to spend an entire day to visit each museum to be able to learn more details. Madame Tussauds? Wax Museum was very interesting, too . All the wax figures looked so real. Right next to each former U.S. president?s wax figure, visitors can push a button and hear an audio recording on some historic events which had happened during this president?s administration. At the end of the tour, we went to Baltimore. The Baltimore port looked ok, but it witnessed the birth of the U.S. anthem. Standing by the water, I saw many ships and boats. Breathing the fresh breeze, I felt so relaxed and comfortable. The entire tour was relaxing compare to some other tours I had attended before. I strongly recommend this tour to people who?d like to spend more time in Washington D.C. Hopefully my review will help.
