Summary of The Day: We will travel from Boston to New Hampshire to see Lake Winnipesaukee in Ellacoya State Park, and then Cannon Mountain and the Flume Gorge in Franconia Notch State Park.

Lake Winnipesaukee Cruise: Lake Winnipesaukee in central New Hampshire is a glacial lake and a popular recreational and sightseeing area.
Franconia Notch State Park
Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway: This scenic 8-minute ride brings visitors just below the summit of Cannon Mountain, 4,200 feet above sea level. After disembarking you can follow the trail up to the observation tower at the very top of the mountain.
Flume Gorge: This is a natural gorge extending 800 feet at the base of Mount Liberty, with walls of granite rising 70 to 90 feet.
Summary of The Day: We will start by exploring White Mountain National Forest, home of Mount Washington. On our way back to Boston, we will stop in Merrimack to visit the Anheuser-Busch Brewery, and Concord to see the New Hampshire State House.
White Mountain National Forest
Mount Washington Cog Railway: When completed in 1868, Mount Washington Cog Railway was the first of its kind to cater specifically to hiking expeditions. Climbing at a 37% incline, it is also the second-steepest railway in the world.
The White Mountains comprise the northeastern section of the Appalachian Mountains. They are the most rugged mountain chain in New England. The highlight of any visit is Mount Washington, which boast the highest summit in New England.
Anheuser-Busch Brewery Tours: Take a behind-the-scenes look at the famous brewery's facility in Merrimack, New Hampshire! Guests on the tour will be guided through every stage of the brewing process, including the beer tasting!
New Hampshire State House: According to the inscription on the outside of the building, this is "the nation's oldest state house in which the legislature still occupies its original chambers." The historic New Hampshire State House has been in service since 1819.
