Any road trip worth its salt needs highways stretching as far as the eye can see, with nothing but stunning scenery flying past your window and that's exactly what you're going to get. Cruise through California's sun-drenched landscape and watch in wonder as it changes from beautiful forests to arid desert.

En route, visit the colorful desert monument of Salvation Mountain which featured in the film `Into the Wild' and follow the yellow brick road to the top. Stop to admire views of the rolling sand dunes before finishing the day at your camp right by the Colorado River.

This morning you'll have the chance to take a cool swim in the mighty Colorado River before heading further into Arizona for a night at an authentic cowboy camp to do the Old West thing in Morristown, Arizona. Saguaro cacti cast familiar shapes across the Sonora Desert bush with coyotes, hawks, and star-filled skies for company.

Your hosts Betty & Rusty will cook you a cowboy steak dinner you won't forget and you can climb high atop one of their trusty horses for a ride under the desert sky. Tonight, prepare for a campfire party under the stars!

Make your way to your final destination on this epic tour, the `City by the Bay', San Francisco. Crowned by the Golden Gate Bridge make sure you enjoy the included city tour where you'll have the chance to walk across this astonishing structure. The hotel operates a free airport to hotel pickup from the international airport to the Aloft El Segundo. Whilst this is a complimentary service a tip of USD 1-2 is generally expected. On arrival to the airport, the shuttle can be picked up at the designated hotel courtesy shuttle area and operates on a continuous loop every 20 minutes.

Departure
Take a shuttle, there are several companies available including Super Shuttle and Go Lorries and all cost around USD 17 per person, plus tip. Transfer takes approximately 45 mins. Or you can arrange a transfer or taxi with the hotel reception.

    You must show a copy of your travel insurance policy to the guide to join the tour and if you do not have any you will not be able to join the tour and there will be NO REFUNDS.
  • Health Requirements
    If you have any medical condition such as diabetes, epilepsy, asthma, take prescribed medicines, or have a condition that will affect your participation in the trek, you must tell us or your travel agent at the time of booking. Please be aware we may require a doctor’s note prior to travel for some conditions. This information is essential in case of emergency. All our vehicles carry a basic first-aid kit, but for everyday use you should bring your own medical supplies, such as, pain relievers, antibiotic cream, upset stomach relievers, in addition to sunscreen and insect repellent.

  • Luggage
    One suitcase, soft holdall or rucksack (23kg maximum) per person, plus a sleeping bag. A small daypack and camera can also be carried in the van. Before you travel, please check the baggage allowance with the airline you’re flying with as this may be less than 23kg.
    If your luggage exceeds the maximum weight, we will not be able to bring it on the tour.
  • Max group size is 14, normally the size will be 11.
  • Las Vegas Tours do not permit travelers under 18, unaccompanied by a co-traveler 21 or older, to join. Travelers aged 18-21 who are unaccompanied by a co-traveler 21 or older can join the tour, however, they cannot gamble in Las Vegas.
  • Wi-Fi on the road
    In order for us to provide this service, we operate a fair usage policy to ensure everyone has equal access to Wi-Fi. The in van Wi-Fi is subject to a set data quota, sufficient for normal usage. This means that you are not permitted to steam films / music or to upload / download large files. If you do so, this will deplete the entire group’s data allowance. For this reason, if you reach your data limit your tour leader may need to turn off the Wi-Fi to ensure you do not run out of data in the latter stages of your trip. Please note: In some remote areas you may not be able to pick up the Wi-Fi in the van, and only five people can be connected to the Wi-Fi at one time.
  • Food Kitty & Meals
    We operate a Food Kitty system on all camping tours. Your tour leader will collect the Food Kitty payment of US$10 per day in cash. Food Kitty money will cover most meals when camping. We will provide all cooking equipment and everyone will take turns in buying, preparing and cooking the food.
  • Battery Charging
    Our vehicles have 2 standard 12volt chargers. You will need a 12volt/cigarette lighter adapter to plug your USB charger into. Every vehicle has at least 2 outlets for you to use. If your tour features some nights in hotels along the way your hotel room will have an electrical outlet (don’t forget your travel plug.
  • Flexible Itinerary
    Our routes have been carefully chosen to include the best overnight stops, highlights and included experiences, with plenty of optional activities to choose from. No two Trek trips are the same, with stops at some of your tour leader's favorite places and occasional changes to the itinerary, so get ready for one awesome adventure!

    1.Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a Receipt of Reservation via email.
    2. Within one to two business days of submitting your reservation you will receive a confirmation email from us. If you need to book an airline ticket, we recommend that you do so after you receive a confirmation of your tour reservation from us.
    3. An E-Ticket will be sent to you via email as soon as details of your reservation are confirmed or your supporting information is received by us. We will provide you with all detailed information about your tour on the E-Ticket. Contact information for local tour provider will be included on E-Ticket for your convenience or re-confirmation purpose if re-confirmation is required.
    4. Simply print your E-Ticket and present it with your valid photo ID on the day of your activity to your tour guide. Please remember E-Ticket is your proof of purchase.
