Day1 Delhi On arrival in Delhi, you will be provided in time assistance at the airport followed by transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 2 Delhi After breakfast tour briefing followed by us, half day City Tour of Old Delhi, In addition to its Historic interest and role as the Government center, Delhi is a major travel gateway. It is one of India's busiest entrance points for overseas airlines, the hub of the North Indian travel network and a stop on the overland route across Asia Places to visit are:-Jama Masjid -Gandhi Memorial Museum -Raj Ghat -Rickshaw Ride in Chandni Chowk -Later enjoy Indian dinner with cooking demonstration After having visits and enjoying Rickshaw ride return back to the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel (B, D).
Day 3 Delhi After breakfast half day city tour of New Delhi. Places to visit are:-Red Fort (Closed on Monday) -India Gate -Qutub Minar -Humayun's Tomb -Drive past the Government building lining the Jan path. After having visits return back to hotel for overnight stay. - Optional visit of Temples: - Lotus Temple: It is lotus shaped and has rightly been given the name. It is made of marble, cement, dolomite and sand. It is open to all faiths and is an ideal place for meditation and obtaining peace and tranquility. - Bangla Sahib: Is an important historical and religious place in India. Dedicated to the eighth Sikh Guru, Sri Harkishen Sahib, it is situated near Connaught Place Market in New Delhi. -Akshardham Temple: The magnificent Akshardham Temple explores an amazing world of Indian culture ornate with 20000 statues, floral motifs, arches and carved pillars. After having visit return back to hotel. Overnight at hotel. (B)
Day 4 Delhi - Varanasi (flight)(ETD 1040 hrs ETA 1150 hrs) After breakfast in time assisted departure transfer to the airport to board the flight for Varanasi. Assistance on arrival at airport followed by transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival check in to the hotel.Later in the afternoon excursion of Sarnath. Just 13 kilometers from Varanasi is Isipathana, now called Sarnath, the deer park where the Buddha first proclaimed the Dhamma to the world. He taught two discourses here, the Dhammacakkhapavathana Stupa and the profound Anattalakhana Stupa. Both discourses are in the booklet Three Cardinal Discourses of the Buddha, Wheel No 17. Set in well maintained gardens Sarnath's ruins are a pleasant place to stroll amongst or meditate in. The main things to see are: Asoka's pillar the ruins of the Mulagandhakuti Harmed Stupa Further to the east is the modern Mulagandhakuti Vihara with its beautiful wall paintings and behind it the Deer Park. Later Old City and Evening Aarti Tour-One can drive to the old city by Car and walk in the Old City, walking through the famous narrow lanes and view the Golden Temple from out side proceed to the Burning Ghat and take a Boat to view the sunset Aarti Puja from the Ganges River itself from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Return to hotel after walking back through the old city which is by now lighted up board then take a rickshaw to the Hotel. Overnight at hotel (B).
Day 5 Varanasi- Khajuraho (flight)(ETD 1220 hrs ETA 1300 hrs) Early morning Boat ride on the river Ganges.
After Boat Ride return back to your hotel for Breakfast. After breakfast in time assisted departure transfer to airport to board the flight to Khajuraho. On arrival Assistance on arrival at airport followed by assisted arrival transfer to the hotel. On arrival check into the hotel. Enjoy the temple tour of Khajuraho. The small village of Khajuraho is in the Chattarpur district that housed the Chandella dynasty in the 11th Century. Khajuraho is famous for the temples here which have some of the most exotic and breathtaking carving ever to be done by a Human hand. The temples classified as Indo-Aryan architect are in three groups covering an area of about 08 square miles. Eastern group of temples Overnight at the Hotel (B, D).
Day 6 khajuraho - Orchha - Jhansi - Agra (Train)khajuraho/Orchha: 107 miles driving time: 03 hrs and 48 mins Orchha/Jhansi: 11 miles driving time: 30 mins After breakfast, drive to Jhansi. En route, visit Orchha. The medieval township of Orchha has hardly been touched by the hand of time. Orchha is famous for its palace & temples, built in the 17th and 18th centuries. Later visit:-The Chaturbhuj -Janaki -Laxmi -Raja Ram Mandirs etc After visit commence drive to Jhansi railway station. Upon arrival board the train for Agra. Assistance on arrival at Agra railway station followed by drive to hotel. Upon arrival check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel (B).No guide in Orchha.
Day 7 Agra Agra is famous as being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World-the Taj Mahal. Agra was once the capital of the Mughal Empire and even today it seems to linger in the past. Not surprising, for the Mughal emperors with their passion for building, endowed the city with some of the finest structures in the world. It is very easy to slip away here through the centuries into the grandeur and intrigues of the Mughal court.Early morning visit The Monument of Love - Taj Mahal (Tai Mahal remains closed on every friday.) After the visit, return back to the hotel to have your breakfast. After breakfast continue with the visit of Agra. Visit: -The Red For -The Itmad-ul-daulah -Sikandra After visit return back to hotel for overnight stay (B).
Day 8 Agra - Fateh Pur Sikri - JaipurAgra - FatehPur Sikri: 22 miles driving time: 01 hrsFateh Pur Sikri - Jaipur: 128 miles driving time: 04 hrs and 46 mins After an early breakfast, commence drive to Jaipur.-En route visit Fatehpur Sikri, "the Ghost City, which lies west of Agra. After visit continue drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival check in to the hotel. -Evening is free to explore the colourful markets of Pink city Return back to hotel for overnight stay at hotel (B, D).
Day 9 Jaipur Jaipur the capital of Rajasthan still looks cradled and well protected. Jaipur takes its name from Maharaja Jai Singh, who in the early 1700s became the king of amber at the age of 13. He soon added architect and astronomy to his credentials. He designed the bulk of his new capital, with its exquisite buildings of rose colored terra cotta, thus giving it the name of "the pink city" with pink and orange the dominant colors, the effect is magic at dusk.After breakfast drive to Amber fort. Enjoy an Elephant Ride while going up the fort. In the afternoon, have a half day city tour of Jaipur. Places to visit include: City Palace Jantar Mantar Hawa Mahal (From out side only) Evening enjoy dinner and Sari and Turban Tying Lesson Later return back to hotel for overnight stay (B, D).
Day 10 Jaipur/Udaipur (flight via Mumbai)(ETD 0730 hrs ETA 1215 hrs) After an early breakfast in time assisted departure transfer to the airport to board the flight for Udaipur. Assistance on arrival at airport followed by transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival check in to the hotel.Afternoon commence, Eklingji & Nagda Excursion - Eklinji, complex of 108 temples & shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. Later in the evening Enjoy boat ride on Lake Pichola & visit jag Manadir. This is the island palace in Lake Pichola.The island has some striking carving including row of elephants that looks as though they are guarding the island. Later in the evening return back to hotel for over night stay. (B)
Day 11 Udaipur After breakfast have a city tour, places to visits include
The Sahelion ki Bari is a good example of the art of landscaping Crystal Gallery and Miniature Painting shops Later in the evening enjoy farewell dinner at good local restaurant (without drinks). Overnight stay at hotel (B).
Day 12 Udaipur - Delhi (flight)(ETD 1350 hrs ETA 1520 hrs) After breakfast provide in time assisted departure transfer to airport to board the flight to Delhi. Assistance on arrival at airport followed by transfer to the hotel. Later provide in time assisted departure transfer to the International airport to connect the flight for onwards journey (B).
