Summary of The Day: A complimentary Vancouver City Tour lasting approximately 3.5 hours is available for arrivals prior to 11:30 am, and customer needs to make reservation 3 days before the departure date. It visits Downtown, Stanley Park, Chinatown, Canada Place and Olympic Cauldron.
If you meet the tour guide before 11:30am and make a reservation 3 days before the departure date, you may enjoy a bonus ferry ride to Granville Island (weather permitting, closed Dec. 25 & 26).
You may also join the Vancouver Night Tour to Downtown Vancouver, Gastown, Olympic Village and False Creek. (Limited Seats! Max. 2 guests per room, subject to availability; additional fee will be applied to extra seats).
Summary of The Day: We'll begin the second day by driving along the Sea to Sky Highway passing by Horseshoe Bay, Shannon Falls, Stawamus Chief and Squamish. We'll arrive in the resort city of Whistler - the host of the 2010 Olympics Winter Games - and take a ride on the Whistler Mountain Peak2Peak Gondola. You will then have free time to yourself before we return to Vancouver in the late afternoon.
Summary of The Day: In the morning we'll take the BC Ferry from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay and head to Victoria. Here we'll visit the famous Butchart Gardens.
Then we'll pass by the Gate of Harmonious Interest at Chinatown and explore the Inner Harbour of Victoria by foot or carriage (own expense) before visiting the Fairmont Empress, the BC Parliament Buildings, Thunderbird Park, Beacon Hill Park and Mile “0.”
We'll spend the night in Victoria.
Summary of The Day: First we'll visit Hatley Castle and Goldstream Provincial Park to discover rich Canadian heritage and natural wonders of Vancouver Island. Take a leisurely stroll under a canopy of towering trees and pass giant Western Red Cedar trees over 600 years old.
Then, we'll visit Duncan and head to Chemainus, where we'll see the lovely murals of the city that display its evolution. We'll arrive at Nanaimo by late afternoon and take a ferry across Horseshoe Bay to Vancouver.
Summary of The Day: We'll begin our Canadian Rockies journey on the Trans-Canada highway, passing through Fraser Valley and heading east for Kelowna, heart of the Okanagan Valley. At Lake Okanagan, we'll hear the legendary story of the lake monster “Ogopogo.” Afterwards we'll visit a renowned winery to learn about the basics of wine making.
Next we'll stop by a honey farm and then settle down at Vernon.
Summary of The Day: Today we'll proceed through Eagle Pass and visit the “Last Spike” of the Canadian Railway network. After passing through Golden, we'll enter Yoho National Park to visit the Natural Bridge and the Emerald Lake.
Then we'll ride the Banff Gondola to the summit of the Sulphur Mountain and enjoy a bird’s eye view of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Then, we'll cross through the Bow Valley and visit none other than the Bow Falls.
Finally we'll arrive in the quintessential alpine village of Banff.
Summary of The Day: After passing by Castle Mountain, we'll head to Moraine Lake (subject to road condition).
Next, enjoy a short lakeside walk along the shores of lovely Lake Louise. If you have a meal plan you can celebrate your day of mountain adventures with a fine meal at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Next we'll pass by Bow Lake to visit Peyto Lake
At sunset, we'll take a memorable ride across Athabasca Glacier on a VIP massive vehicle - “Ice Explorer." Get the very best experience and stay at the unique hotel at the Columbia Icefield that features spectacular views of the Athabasca Glacier during the day and unmatched stargazing at night.
Summary of The Day: In the morning, step onto the Glacier Skywalk (own expense) and have a thrilling experience on a platform where glass is all that separates you from a 918 feet drop.
After visiting the Athabasca Falls, we'll head to the town of Jasper. Here, you can capture the most magnificent view of mother nature by river rafting (own expense) or horseback riding (own expense). Or simply stroll along the heart-shaped Beauvert Lake next to the Jasper Park Lodge.
Then we'll proceed to Mt. Robson and arrive at Valemount by the evening.
Summary of The Day: Today we'll drive along Thompson River and pass the district of Clearwater and Wells Gray Provincial Park. We'll arrive in Kamloops, a city with over 2,000 hours of sunshine per year. Here we'll visit the only GMP certified Ginseng factory in West Canada and learn about the amazing healing power of Ginseng. After passing by Hope and Hunter’s Creek, we'll return to Vancouver.
Summary of The Day: For Vancouver departures
You'll have a free day for shopping, visiting friends and family or dining at nearby restaurants. We'll transfer you to the Vancouver airport afterwards.
Also, should you have missed the half-day complimentary City Tour your first day, you may join the Mini-City Tour in the morning before going to the airport. Afterward, you will be dropped off at the Vancouver Airport. Please arrange your flight to depart after 3:30pm.
For Seattle Departures:
We will leave Vancouver during the morning to arrive at Seattle Aquarium or Sea-Tac Airport at approximately noon.
